We went to Joe's for brunch and had the chicken a la batak and the pork taco. All homemade, incredible flavour and spices used, and good portions! We enjoyed the meal and atmosphere so much we went back for dinner and had BBQ pork with chips and salad. The pork was cooked perfectly and the homemade sauce was delicious. Our brunch was a good price of 75k for 2 meals, but the bbq pork was our most expensive meal in Indonesia at 240k for 2 people (worth it!). However, the food was also the best we have had so far on our travels! So depending on budget, this place has everything you need and will fill you up! What we enjoyed most, was Ooli's, Joe's and their granddaughter's company. Thank you for the wonderful stories and making it feel like a homely,...

So we booked for the following evening :) we took grilled fish and grilled pork and both dishes were absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Food comes with home made sambal souse - brilliant!!!! The venue is rather basic and home run, but owners are very friendly and full of hospitality. We payed 120k for 2 dishes which made this dinner even more memorable. I’ve never eaten such a tasty fish in my life!...
