We ate lunch here , and we ordered pork saksang and pork fried rice, it is delicious ! The coffee is amazingly good and ms. Anna said that it is locally grown, my gf usually dont drink coffee but she likes it and i ended up ordering 1kg of the beans Mr.Tim is the owner (born in toba) and he is a sculptor of traditional batak artwork and i ended up buying his artwork 😁 Ms. Anna is the owner and she is a very welcoming and cheerful lady and cooks delicious meal We talked a lot about the local customs and toba life in general and they are very2 welcoming and funny The place itself is small but the view is nice and full of mr. Tim artwork ! So make sure to come here to meet these wonderful people !

We had the chance to have Yolanda’s restaurant just next to our hotel, but even if the place was further I would have made the walk there for the food !! Lovely owner, delicious fish, with an amazing homemade sauce. Food made with care, time and love. I can only recommend ! Too bad we didn’t have time to try out their Batak food. And did I mention the view ??

Absolutely delightful place with lovely couple (with an adorable doggy) serving delicious food in the home-cooked style at very reasonable prices. Came here to eat and lingered for the great view, and we ended up eating here every night of our stay. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area again.

Tim, will bring you around Samosir and show you about the Tourism Object and the Culture in Samosir Island. Very nice guy. Anna, will serve you with the good cook. What a delightful little place! My partner and I stayed at Mas Cottage for 3 nights and we had all our meals at Yolanda restaurant. The food was really really tasty, with generous portions at a very reasonable price. The owner is a very warm and friendly lady. You get a lovely view of the lake amidst the colourful burst of flowers. Bonus: they have the cutest and the best doggy! We (my partner, I and doggy) spent hours at this tiny little place. I will recommend this to anyone...
