A good place to dine in and take a break from long haul trip.

The bird serving is generous. Price point suitable for their service and offering.

All good will be served to you and it’s up to you to eat as many as you can. They charge meal that you ate which surprisingly cheap with quality of meal they serve.

Parking can be an issue.

Additional info: they provide a small mosque for guest

Must try: fried bird (request crispy if you like), yellow tofu,...

Our first meal in our first trip to Sumatera. It was the best meal in our entire 4-day trip. Quails were deep fried - their speciality, but beware of the tiny bones. All their dishes were awesome! If you can take the pungent chili spiciness, try all their sambal. You’ll be sweating but they are all so flavourful:) A highly recommended restaurant. P/s if you are vegan/vegetarian, there are many options; highly recommended fried tauhu...

It's a very famous restaurant if you want to go to Lake Toba. Most people would suggest it. Tried the quail and another bird( I forgot the name) . The quail is better, the other ( which is locally unique), too many small bones( maybe it's feathers?). But okay to try some local food though.
