Amazingly delicious buttery river fish! This is the best grilled fish restaurant in this city! We are here for lunch and we order river Patin fish (wild) make sure to ask river ones not the Caramba or farm version. The wuld Patin fillet is so buttery! Almost like salmon with hints of earthy feelings. The second fish dish we order grilled Lais ( also wild from river) this fish is more dry compared to Patin but also taste good even they grilled without butter or any herbs. The river shrimp is amazingly delicious as well ! Don’t forget to ask sayur asam for side dish and grilled Aubergine is complimenting the fish very well. The sayur asam is more nutty compared to Javanese version but also taste fresh. The ambiance is so local with vibe from the traditional market nearby. The service is fast and friendly. Price is moderates but depends on your choice...

We stopped by here right from the airport to have lunch. We ordered various foods seen in the pictures. One dish, grilled shrimps, wasn't in the picture. I personally didn't like fish, but the grilled fish in this eatery was very good, both patin and belida. They are soft and juicy. The shrimps were also good. I also liked crispy fried seluang. The rest of the foods were ok.

The services were good, but the ambiance was far from comfortable. We ate at the first floor, so no...

Not recomanded buat saya. Sambel nya sangat asam dan encer. Bukan basi tapi asam sekali dari campuran buah asam/mangga muda bahkan tidak ada rasa cabai sama sekali. Tidak balance rasanya dengan ikan bakar. Ikan nya biasa aja tidak ada bumbu khusus dalam bakaran. Flat rasanya. Untung ikannya segar.. saya kasih catatan: perbaiki rasa sambal. Jangan encer dan cicipin rasanya please...untuk sup nya ada rasa nya lumayan.. tempat jg khas masakan lokal dan sdh lama. Kurang bersih... saya lihat yg banyak makan disini orang2 tua/ pelanggan2 tua. Saya sampai minta sambal kalau ada jenis lain Dikasih sambal cabe ulek rasanya hanya pedas. Kata suami kok hambar semua. Dulu enak katanya 😂😂 Saya...
