Kopi Tubing Café is a stunning destination that perfectly blends a relaxing coffee spot with the wild beauty of nature. While the picturesque views are the main draw, be prepared for a noticeable flaw: the kitchen speed. We had to ask about our order several times, experiencing a significant wait for the food to be ready. This extended delay is a common pitfall, especially during peak hours, and can test the patience of hungry guests.
Fortunately, this wait turns into an unexpected opportunity. The extensive property is designed for exploration, boasting areas where you can walk and immerse yourself in the natural surroundings. Between the rolling rice fields and the soothing rush of the Cikuluwung River, there's always a peaceful spot to wander or an "Instagramable" vista to capture. You can easily spend your waiting time trekking down to the water's edge, relaxing in the beanbag seating area, or simply breathing in the fresh, clean air—making the delay a chance to truly explore the area and achieve a moment of genuine serenity.
The café space itself is a brilliant fusion of modern design and rustic elements, utilizing wood and open architecture to maximize the natural light and stunning views. Many seating areas are strategically positioned to overlook the vibrant green landscape, allowing guests to witness the local farming life. This focus on environment creates a perfect backdrop for "healing" or a simple weekend retreat, justifying the journey to this more remote location.
As for the beverages, they are competent but not the focus: the drinks were nothing particularly special standard coffee menu items without unique flair with pricing consistent with other fancy, modern cafes in the Bogor area. Ultimately, the experience here isn't about the coffee quality or the service speed; it's about enjoying a stunning, tranquil natural landscape where the river's flow and the expansive...
Read moreIt's quite an effort to visit this place for we had to spend a two-hour drive even we started it from Sentul Selatan which totaled four hour for the return trip. So it's better to spend a night at the glamping or villa of Kopi Tubing if you wanna get more q-time there. The foods and drinks were all tasty and the prices were moderate. We ordered tahu gejrot, hot chocolate, caesar salad, guava juice, and roti bakar. They were all in pics. 😍 The view was beautiful, something the Jakartans won't see in the city😁 The staff was also friendly and helpful. Kak Halimah helped us taking some pics there. 😊👍🏼
The river tubing was A LOT of fun, we had the adventure ride at 11.00 and it ended at 12.00 WIB. Better to also use the documentation package there which costed 195k (for 40 files) or 225k for all files. At first, I chose the 195k package which turned out to be choosing the 225k at the end cause the pics taken were all good (160 pics) and also because I was lazy to choose 40...
Read morerecently stumbled upon Kopi Tubing, a hidden gem nestled near the breathtaking Halimun Salak mountain, and I'm still reeling from the experience. This charming eatery masterfully blends the best of Western and Indonesian cuisine, set against a stunning resort-like backdrop that will transport you to a tranquil paradise. As I stepped in, I was warmly welcomed by the staff, who set the tone for a truly unforgettable meal.
The ambiance is nothing short of magical, with the soothing sounds of the river and the lush, Ubud-style nature surrounding you, making it the perfect spot to unwind. And, with tubing activities available in the river, you can even work up an appetite before indulging in their mouth-watering dishes. Speaking of which, their Tom Yam and Vietnam coffee are absolute must-tries – the flavors are bold, rich, and expertly balanced. I also had the chance to try their pizza, which was surprisingly delicious, and I can see why it's one of...
