Gubug Makan Mang Engking Pondok Cabe — Restaurant in Pamulang

It's very unfortunate for today's experience. Expecting to have good food and good service as usual other Mang Engking branch, but shocked with the unprofessionalsm of server in this Mang Engking Pondok Cabe.

I ordered rice but after all the food served the server told me rice is finished and need to wait 30 mins, I ordered Kangkung and after complaining the server told me Kangkung is sold out, I ordered Hot Tea and never come until now.

Why oh why? Why the server didn't tell at the beginning if Kangkung is sold out? Why the server didn't tell the customer earlier to need to wait 30 mins for rice? Why they don't provide checker at each table so they aware what food have been served and which haven't?

Why the server ruins the experience? Why the server ruins the good name of Mang Engking? It's too bad they ruin the good reputation of Mang engking.

Sundanese resto at pondok cabe. Rather difficult to find the resto. Look for a rather small signage, follow the sign and the resto is located further back from the parking area (ample parking space). A huge Sundanese style resto with traditional sitting (lesehan) but if you prefer they have also table and chairs sitting arrangement. Enjoy having your meal at small huts (private area) around a large pond full of fishes. They also have a playground for kidz. The food is mainly seafood. They offer only one type of fish, crab, shrimp, scallops, and others. The food is just so and so but I particularly liked the kredok, recommended.
