AMAISH Parepare — Restaurant in Pare-Pare

This place has a good location and is laid out nicely with a reasonable amount of parking but could go either way.

Lighting is quite nice and the place looks high end (for Parepare) in that respect. Menu is made up of multiple separate sheets and many items are shown only for group orders. Some very standard items were not on the menus but we were told that they could be ordered.

When I tried to order French fries I was told that they were not available but on ordering chicken sandwiches they came with French fries. Perhaps the frozen fries were running low or else the portions were already made up for the sandwiches.

Coffee was okay except that no sugar sachet was provided when the order came and had to be requested. The coffee also comes only in tiny cups and is not even at normal restaurant temperature. This problem should be addressed since the place is styled more as a Cafe/hangout than a restaurant.

Food quality is okay, my wife and her friends ordered a second portion because they liked their order. My chicken sandwich was more an egg sandwich with just a little chicken and there was much more mayonnaise than needed but this is fairly typical in Indonesia and the price was very reasonable.

Service was very friendly but lacking somewhat in efficiency, perhaps the staff needs more experience or training and, in the staff's defence, there were quite a lot of customers being a Saturday night though there were some empty tables so perhaps staffing levels are still being worked out, especially in view of the pandemic.

In summary, the view is good, the location quite nice, the food was pleasantly acceptable and the prices were very reasonable. There was no blaring music which can ruin the experience of a good hangout. With just a little more attention to detail it would easily rate four stars and with the location, parking and views could make five stars with some effort.

I will be visiting again and hope to see some improvement as Parepare could really use some decent hangouts and the work that the owner has put into this place already deserves praise. I wish them great success.

I just wish they offered larger "hot" coffees, preferably mugs, at a decent temperature. Price could be adjusted...

Mulai dari harga Rp 15.000 hingga Rp 30.000 untuk minuman.

Minuman andalan Bukit Amaish, vanila regal dan fruit funch.

Selain itu, juga ada minuman lain seperti kopi susu, americano, choco caramel dan aneka jus lainnya

Bagi pengunjung yang datang bersama keluarga bisa memesan paket makanan.

View yg cantik dirusak sama suasana restonya.. saking kerasnya suara musik, pesanan sy sampe salah 2 kali... ga cocok blass utk kalian yg bawa sekeluarga dgn anak2.. apalagi bawa org tua.. waduh, kasian nanti telinganya pengang 🥲 spertinya para karyawan suka skali dengar musik keras, yg ngerequest para mereka2 aja..

Saran: dengan view pemandangan yg cantik begitu, ga salah kok pakai musik/band.. cuma pilihlah musik yg slow, santai jadi ketika pesan makanan, customer ga harus teriak-teriak..

Pelayanannya ramah, Makanannya yg 🥲 nasinya rasa kelamaan di ricecooker. Pesan yg ga pedes, dikasi pedes banget.. soup/rawonnya 😮‍💨 ga bisa berkata2...
