We came for breakfast, on our way to Toraja, after one night in Parepare. My wife wanted to try Mie Titi in Makassar, but there were too many other interestijg foods and we skipped it. Until Parepare. That's not any kind of noodles...they are first boiled, then deep fried. When they get the desired crisp, that serve the noodles in a home cook recipe sauce that tastes like nothing I tried before. Because the noodles stay crisp in the sauce, it's a delicious sensation. We met for the orignal version of Mie Titi, and were very satisfied. The plate is huge, and being a big eater, I could barely finish. I went the extra mile because it would be a sin to leave such a sensational food on a plate. My wife stopped at half the plate, and we asked for a doggie bag. Price is at 40k rps per plate....
