Samula Coffee & Eatery — Restaurant in Pekanbaru

It’s located in small street near Jalan Lobak. The parking lot is spacey for cars you can park at the field besides it. There’s a nonsmoking indoor and smoking outdoor. The seats are many but sometimes inadequate in rush/busyhour in the weekend. I like the sofa seat in the indoor area, that’s comfortable to do work or task that needs a longtime to sit.

A little bit pricey, I think but it could be a hit or miss for the foods. The coffees and drinks are good. My 1st and 2nd visit, both in the weekend and weekday… the foods were tasty. But at my 3rd we ordered nasi goreng it turns out very dried to the point it was hard to chew and portion is very small unlike our 1st and 2nd visit. Some dishes in the menu book can’t be ordered-unavailable, so we kinda guessing what’s available and what’s not.

In busy hours, the queue can be depressing because they need to learn the menu when they are in the cashier. Although the have posted the menu on their IG’s link but it seems many visitors don’t bother read it first makes the queue be sooo wasting time. Perhaps you can make the menu that can be read before the visitor come to the cashier, make it a big poster near the cashier’s queue or else.

There’s a photo box inside the cafe, you can use it with your friends or family. Gotta try it...

#ExplorecoffeeshopwithSmit One question. Does the lychee tea here have a mix with coffee ingredients? The problem is I ordered hot lychee tea but what came was like cold brew with lychee flavored. When I checked the menu, the menu description was in Latin instead (yes, I know this menu uses a template, please pay attention again). If it's true that the lychee tea has coffee ingredients, it tastes so-so. If not, maybe the baristas need coffee to concentrate more hmm. This is so fatal if u bring me wrong drink. I'm quite happy there is a coffeeshop in this area. The place is spacious consisting of indoor and outdoor areas, I don't know if the wifi is smooth or not. There are quite clean toilets. The barista isn't friendly, I'm so sorry. Spacious parking. Disability access is difficult. The food I ordered gyoza, but what came out was like steamed dim sum, the meat was still frozen. Lokasinya yang terletak tidak jauh dari Jl. Lobak, tepatnya masuk ke jalan sebelah SMP Bintang Cendikia kira-kira 500 meter.

Gedungnya merupakan rumah yang disulap menjadi kafe yang apik.. Pas buat tempat nongkrong, janjian bisnis maupun buat kerja fokus gitu karena tidak terganggu bisingnya dan hilir mudiknya kendaraan di jalan raya.

Terasa hommy dan beragam pilihan ruangan. Ada ruang tertutup lengkap dengan AC, ada meja besar bebas merokok di teras dengan dilengkapi kipas, ada pula meja personal dan pilihan duduk di taman.

Fasilitas toilet, mushola dan washtafel nya bersih selalu terjaga.

Lumayan banyak kapasitas untuk pengunjungnya. Jika parkir penuh, ada lokasi parkir tambahan di sebelah kafe. Keamanan terjaga karena ada petugas parkirnya.

Untuk harga, rasa dan kualitas makanan dan minumannya lumayan ya, terjangkau, rasanya pas dan kualitasnya baik sih..
