Aksanawa Coffee & Eatery — Restaurant in Sawangan

Nice strategic location and sometimes pouring by haze, this is the perfect location to watch Mt. MERAPI in South and Mt. MERBABU in North East, while you breath fresh mountain air... Not to perfect to relax since they are using "hard chair" (see the pictures), so we will feel less comfort if we stay for a long stay.... (unless the management means that the guests must leave soon and another guests come). F and B are OK in taste and serving, but the price is a little bit OVER PRICE (as I also noticed that there is 10 reviews said "over price or pricey") compared to items and portions), and not to much options... But it is relative and depends on your though....!!!

A cozy cafe with a direct view to the volcano Mt. Merapi, a beautiful Javanese joglo architecture and outdoor photo backdrops. Not so far from the Ketep Pass, a popular mountainside destination in Sawangan District, Magelang Regency, Central Java Province. I and my wife had a sweet beef vegetable soup (the Javanese asem-asem), a rice bowl with savory crispy chopped dory fish and hot sweet teas. Spacious parking lots for motorbikes and cars. Clean toilets and musholla (moslem prayer place). The foods were perfect, but the tea was expensive (IDR 15,000.-) and completely failed in taste. Very good free WiFi. Sy dtng pas high season akhir desember.. Bisa dipastikan ramainya seperti apa, karena aksanawa ini berlokasi dikawasan wisata. Yg perlu menjadi catatan adalah, seharusnya pihak resto mengantisipasi lonjakan pengunjung sehingga servicenya bs tetap excelent. Knp harus excelen, karena mereka menggunakan embel2 Eatery dengan PPN 11%, of course service jg point.. ya kan? Order makanan harus langsung bayar dikasir. Kami dine in dijam lunch, rame memang smpai bingung cari tempat tanpa panduan staff Selain harus menunggu antrian makanan datang, rooftop outdoornya jg tdk disediakan payung2an ala2 cafe, jd ketika hujan, pengunjung repot sendiri, ditambah jumlah staff yg pas2an, jadilah kami self service. Menu makanan mash kurang variatif, dan salah satu menu minuman kami, disajikan dgn gelas platik take away, sy tanya knp, alasannya karena gelas habis. Ya..ya..ya.. Lalu menu datang satu persatu dengan jarak sekitar 10-15 menit permenunya.. lama kan? Tibalah menu terakhr yg belum datang tp makanan dan minuman yg lain sudah habis.. hilang sudah rasa lapar saya.. akhrnya sy batalkan dan sy minta refund uang karena sudah byr dimukaaa..

Oh iya.. ditambah lg kebersihan kamar mandi yg becek dan flush mati serta kotoran yg blm terbuang dgn baik.. eatery loh ini... lalu ada staff kamar mandi yg bersih2 yg ternyata jg sebelumnya served makanan..

Oh ya, untuk rasa makanannya, sbtrulnya ga buruk, tp bukan yg enak banget jg.. cm minumannya gulanya ga bs kita adjust.. jd ya ga bs sesuai selera kita.. Coba diperbaiki untuk menu dan servicenya.. syymg bnget itu vibe tempatnya udah ok, jd sayang lah klo makanan n servicenya ngasal.. ga semua orang dtng ke tempat itu untuk foto, bisa jd emang...
