JJ Steak thereal steak (Supriyadi) — Restaurant in Semarang

I heard it, over and over, from my colleagues-- suggested that this is the best yet cheapest steak in Semarang.

Well, all i can say is-- the price to taste is so reasonable. You will have what you pay for: a cheap-yet-not-too-tasty steak. Please, i suggest you dont expect to much on such a cheap price steak.

The name suggests a tender steak a.k.a tender loin, but the steak is not as tender as I expected. However, the doneness is quite okay.

I ordered the most expensive steak on the menu: US prime. A steak that is supposed to be the best, tastiest, on the menu BUT... Compared to the tenderloin they had, US prime is less tastier than those of tenderloin steaks that my friends ordered. I ordered a medium rare US prime and it is juicy, but once again, I didn't expect much from this place and i was right, the tenderloin tasted better than US prime. It is better than US prime, the looks of the tenderloin is even better!

So, for those who plans to come to this place, you guys better get yourself a tenderloin steak, a much cheaper steak with better taste compared to the expensive one.

I usually enjoy steaks without the sauce. It sounds weird, but i do that to feel the real taste of a stake I ordered, and i could not really enjoy my steak without sauce here in JJsteak. It is because the sauce tasted so great, specifically the mushroom sauce. The sauce really was the helper.

Another thing to notice: one of your servers was not really well-to-do to the customer. Please tell all of them to treat them well, look at the customers with the look of happiness, dont talk while starring at us in grumpy look. The way you guys stare at us mean a lot!

All in all, once again-- you will have with you pay for. Dont put high hope on this place.

The service, honeyyyy needs a lot more improvements. We ordered additional drinks and it took literally half an hour for just ice lemon tea? And guess what? They didn’t even make those tea so we have to come down to take it ourselves? Service is definitely 0. Our order also took a lot of time to make, the reason was “there’s a lot of people on the 1st floor” um? It’s not my business love, we went in first we should be served first just because we’re on 2nd floor you can abandon us just like that?
