The Salt Resto — Restaurant in Semarang

The food was good, especially the aroma of the dishes. I think this resto use real indian herb because i dont feel something like instant spices. maybe this resto cook from scratch. The restaurant itself, i recommend not to came at night, because the light inside the building not bright enough, there was many musquitos that gonna eat your legs. If you came at night, choose outside of the buildings because there was brighter.

A bit pricy, but for some new experience cuisine worth to try it.

The most highlight dishes that i ordered was : Food : Chicken curry - the chicken nothing special in taste, but the aroma of the curry, the thickness of the curry broth really good, not overwhelm just nail it. Pani puri, this dish taste really unique, and taste good for me. Using fresh mint lemon as a broth, savoury inside but the cracker give a bit sweetness. biryani chicken, taste unique and fragnant, but i suggest to reduce of the salt. Because it taste to much salt. give sweetness and fragnant of the rice become the star of this dish, not the salt (maybe cause the restaurant name was "salt" so biryani rice give the salt become a star of the dish 😅) naan bread or maybe all the bread, was really good, tasty, good texture, well fermented and i ordered twice (really that good especially when you dip on curry or some sauce 🤤🤤)

Harga makanan dari appetizers sampai main course sekitar Rp 40.000 - Rp 80.000. Cukup masuk akal untuk rasa yang otentik. Harga bisa di-cek di website mereka yg ada di google. The decorations for the restaurant is so bad and under presentation. Many menu varieties with pictures, so you won't get confused. Perhaps try to go here during midday than night. Since this place is indeed requires better lighting...

Probably the worst overall Indian meal I have had. There were freeze dried vegetables in the briyani. Tatseless mutton which may have been freeze dried also. However the garlic naan and butter chicken were flavorful. Several drinks on the menu were sold out.
