Kwetiau AKANG Medan BSD City — Restaurant in Serpong

This place is one of jakarta old school food place which have embraced the modern look and open plenty of branch all across jakarta.

However don’t be mistaken the food here is still as good as before with a touch of nostalgia. This restaurant signature dish is the flat rice noodle or known as kwetiau, it’s cooked in many style however the favorites are the fried and the sıram which have a sticky Egg gravy to the fried noodle.

The place is clean and cool with plenty of parking. Highly recommend for those who are in the area to come and pay them a visit however for my local friends please take a note that they serve a non halal option which might be a consideration point for our Muslim friends.

Been a regular, but I haven't been here for a long time. I forgot that they had a humongous portion. 😅 So, I struggled a bit in finishing the food.

Their fried rice was good, and they gave a lot of toppings. But I still prefer their kwetiau (duh?). The fried tice is predominantly sweet, and the smoky-ness of it makes you want to have more and more.
