One of the reasons customers will come back to the restaurant is because of their food. Since the first time my hubby visited the restaurant in 2019, he kept insisting that I visit the resto. I think I understand why, and I can say that jejamuran can provide us with delicacy of traditional/indonesian cuisine. Almost all the menu I ordered here is taste superb (except for spicy/'edan' food selection. It's just too spicy for my liking, so I couldn't finish eating it). The restaurant is big, it has a souvenir shop with their specialty product (containing mushrooms). The restaurant is also selling orchid, cactus and succulent plants, so you can bring the plants into your home. I can say that jejamuran is a great place for eating with your family/friends with a very nice scenery. However, I think in general, prices can be considered as expensive in the Jogja area. I spent around IDR 125k/person to eat here (including beverage). I also bought tea, canned food, chips, etc from the souvenirs shop around IDR 150k. The parking area is spacious, very nice, but so many illegal parking/people ask for money claiming they help us park our vehicle (even though the sign clearly says 'free parking fee').

Rombongan saya selanjutnya milih: sate jamur, fuyunghai jamur, Tom Yum jamur, risoles jamur, honey lime, es teh tawar, es beras kencur, portobello goreng tepung, sama wedang jejamuran. Semua lauk pauk enak sekali dipakaikan nasi. Selesai makan kami disapa sama pemilik jejamuran, Bapak Ratidjo Hardjo Soewarno.

Jejamuran is a well-known restaurant that offers a unique dining experience with a focus on mushrooms as the star of every dish. Located just outside the hustle and bustle of Yogyakarta, Jejamuran is set in a spacious, open-air area that makes it comfortable for both small groups and large gatherings. The restaurant’s concept of mushroom-based dishes is intriguing, and the ambiance has a natural, rustic charm that fits well with their farm-to-table approach. The food here is genuinely special, offering a wide range of dishes, from mushroom satay to crispy mushroom tempura. The variety showcases just how versatile mushrooms can be. Each dish is flavorful, and it’s fascinating to see how well mushrooms are transformed to mimic traditional meat dishes, making it a great option for vegetarians or those looking to try something different. The service is friendly, and the restaurant’s open layout makes the experience feel casual yet welcoming. If you’re curious to try an extensive menu based around mushrooms, Jejamuran is definitely worth visiting.

All food provided in this place is made from mushrooms. Various kinds of mushrooms are used in each menu, even when I order ice dawet, there are also mushrooms, enoki mushrooms. It is located about 30 minutes from Jogja city. The parking lot is spacious and there is no parking fee. There are Many security personnel and ready to help you when you will cross from the parking lot to Jejamuran. I visited this place during the holiday season so the conditions were very crowded. I had to wait around 30 minutes for my turn to get a table and start ordering food. This restaurant is really spacious and the supporting facilities are also quite complete such as a small garden to take pictures with decorative mushroom backgrounds, lactation rooms, toilets, rest rooms, and prayer rooms. The food served is very delicious. My favorite menu is mushroom satay. The price of each mushroom-based menu is also relatively cheap. Besides that, there also sells some mushroom-based snacks. Very satisfied and highly recommend this place.

“Jejamuran” serves everything mushroom! Aside from fast attentive service, delicious & cheap food, this restaurant also offers a free mushroom plantation tour, fish foot spa and live music. You’ll find this restaurant on the way back to Jogjakarta from Merapi Volcano or Borobudur Temple. . Upon entering the host gives you a menu and a table number. Once you find your way to your table you mark your selections on the dim sum style menu. If you come in the afternoon some of the popular items are usually crossed out as they sell out. Be sure to brush up on your Indonesian as there is no English on the menu- or just resolve to be adventurous. We tried the rendang mushroom, mushroom fried rice, mushroom satay, tomyum mushroom, kampung fried chicken along with avocado and unsweetened ice tea. The food is ridiculously delicious - 5/5, drink/juice are ok. Too bad, the outdoor seating setting in this part of the world means the 2nd hand smoke is included free too 😤😤 We shall be back!

We stopped here on the way back from the Borobudar temple to Jogja center. We saw it on Google maps, highly rated as a mushroom restaurant and thought it sounded quite interesting. When we turned up it wasn't quite what we expected. There were security and parking attendants ready to guide us into a car park, from the middle of the road. There were also big busses in the car park. I didn't realise the place was so popular and big, I thought it was just a small restaurant. We went inside, and it was lovely. Live music was being played and it seems to be a hit with the Indonesian tourists, didn't see any other tourists like myself. It was very cheap considering how nice the restaurant was and importantly it was delicious. I really like mushrooms. Only complaint was that the Lumpia and Goreng Tepung Shiitake had obviously been cooked earlier as it didn't have the fresh crispness you would expect. But the Rendang Jamur, Tongseng Jamur and Sambal were excellent. Nice experience.
