Beatus Alfresco Dining & Grill — Restaurant in Surabaya

Everybody in the city knows this is where you need to go to eat the best and the most premium butter crab in Surabaya. I have been here a lot of times and I think it is better to reserve a table before going and you also can order your food through Whatsapp while reserving your table so you wouldn’t need to order again when you are there. If I am not wrong they have two sizes of crabs, one is 400g - 600g and the other are the crabs that weigh more than 700g. The butter crab always tastes spectacular, you will always be able to clean the crab meat inside its legs as they don’t overcook the crab, the crabs are also always clean. I have tried their escargot and chicken steak and both of them were also delicious. The place is high end and the price is steep but they have amazing quality and taste so it is always worth it to eat here. We also got a 10% discount because we ordered a day before. Service is always great, the staff are always friendly. Atmosphere of the place is also great to eat in. Will always be the best place to get butter crab...

Just made a reservation for 7.30pm with my girlfriend at Beatus Alfresco Dining & Grill (Citraland) yesterday morning and was assured that we will get a table and the famous Caramelized Butter Crab reserved for us.

7.30pm comes, we arrived at the location, and what did we see? The restaurant is closed. We had paid 38.000 rupiah for our gocar and spent 20 mins to reach. We ended up having to pay another 38.000 rupiah to go home and another 20 mins spent on the road, not to mention we walked around for 10 mins to looking for the restaurant and couldn't find it cause it was in total darkness. We wasted a total of 76.000 rupiah (excluding tips) and 50 mins for nothing, and we had our nights ruined.

The restaurant only informed us THE NEXT DAY, that the restaurant has a sudden vaccination appointment. And they said sorry. That is all. No compensation is offered whatsoever. Very very disappointed. We only had one night in Surabaya and it was spent on a gojek, going back and forth to...

The food choice here is supreme. In short, food taste tender and has cultural taste. Served with correct resto manner. I tried the signature crab, marble beef, and escargot. These 3 dish is perfect and super savory... allow me to explain....

First the appetricer, which is the escargot, wellly savory with greenish feelings, tender yet warm and fresh, which enhance the enjoyment, I suggest you to try it with bread,

Next the main course, butter crab, comes with a set of rice, super buttery, savory, tender, meat looks alright to me, this dish is the suggested on so please try this.

NEXT THE ULTIMATE.,.,.,.,., Marble grade wagyu beef. It has this aromatic smell, perfect seasoned serve with correct manner which is plating, , veggies, and sauce or fries. Super tender.

Finaly, desert, ice cream taste supremely sweet with this creps and fruits... But the price seems to encompass some thing here, expensive but worth it, fold is to be enjoyed with...
