Calipto Eatery — Restaurant in Surabaya

I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH TODAY`S SERVICE!! never want to come to this place anymore.

It was not a pleasant service, especially from the kitchen!!!

Why? I came at this restaurant on Saturday around 19.40 and there are only 2 big tables. One was from my group around 12 people and the other was around 10 people if I`m not mistaken. Whereas, all of my friends came earlier than me around 19.00. When I came, there already 4 of 10 dishes that coming. Well, at first I still considered that I was the latest person who came so I wait patiently until it reach almost 1 hour. GUESS WHAT? Even the other 4 dishes (except mine) were not served yet!! it is more than 1 HOUR!!! AND THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! *Its end up one of my friend didt eat at all, she cancelled it and the rest of the food came around 21.15!

When I ask to the waiter, they tried to give a reason that because they only have 1 person who worked in the kitchen!! WHICH I DON`T CARE AT ALL!!! SO ANNOYING! You should not give that kind of reason! DUDE, it takes more than 1 hour, and the way of the kitchen staff saying that he is alone actually is not a reason at all!! He should be sorry and do his stuff in efficiently to make it out! NOT giving such us a stupid answer! ¨

As a restaurant, they should know about pre-cooked, how to maintain the quality in a efficient way!!

If you are not ready yet, then AT LEAST you should inform us at first so we know your condition and we accept the consequences! NOT LIKE THIS!!!

my best experience to get some brunch here ! i love the vibes and the decoration they made.this place also had a reading books to read, that is great for you guys that wanna meeting up here ! and for the food price, isn't too expensive, the price just fits for you college student or you guys who just wanna chill and done your work here.

for the food, i like the granma's pancake, its just taste well and not to sweet. i also recommend some coffee to drink, the ice cafe latte, it is serve in the tall cup of drinks. oh, and this place not just serve snacks and drinks, they also serve lunch.
