Depot Serry Kwetiau Medan — Restaurant in Surabaya

For Kwe tiauw lover in Rungkut area, this restaurant is the most delicious that you can eat. In Surabaya there are others that similar or even better, but in this area I think it's the best one. This is a non halal restaurant. Location is not in the main street but it's easily found. Room is big and there's air conditions, but during noon it's not cool enough (it's ok but to it's not cozy). Enjoy the foods only. But the room is clean. Price is moderate. Food is delicious especially noodle, kwee tiauw. Other Chinese foods...

It's a good Chinese restaurant, some says it's quite a legend. Its signature is Flat rice noodle (Kway Teow). Fried is good, but cooked and served witb egg gravy is better. Normal portion is quite big, I can't imagine the jumbo one. I can't stand the place, cozy but really bad ambience. Too many flies makes dining not enjoyable at all, and surely bad for hygiene. Service is fine. Limited...

I was here two times. First time trying the sosis goreng, it was unforgettable! Later, I tried Mie Keriting, Kwetiau, Babi Telur Asin, and again sosis goreng (which could be called Lap Ciong also). It was super delicious! One portion was enough to make you full (the jumbo one). And it just costs around 7 dollar each person, so you can taste 4 menus together at one time))...
