IKEA Restaurant Alam Sutera — Restaurant in Tangerang

Absolute Dining Experience. Note that this is my 3rd time here.

Basically, it is a self-serving restaurant where you pick your food and clean the table yourself.

The meatballs are the best here. It is meaty, the sauces are amazing and covers every meatball. The mashed potatoes are smooth and creamy. Perfect with the sauce. The jam, although it might be a weird thing to put on the place, is actually amazing. It adds a decent amount of sweetness into the plate. Definitely amazing.

The hamburg is good. It is enjoyable and the cheese is a good complement inside. The churros tasted like potato stick snacks but were thicker and much more dense. The sauce was good and did not override the taste of the burger(not that strong).

The sausages were great. It reminds me of the street food sausage. Juicy and pretty firm hehe. Karaage chicken... well it is a bit weird. It tastes like.. Bujan/Uyen (look it up). That's it hehe. It is not your usual karaage chicken.

Have you ever gone to Jakarta-Merak highway? You will find the first rest area in 13th KM. About three kilometers from it is Alam Sutera town. And just one kilometer from the toll exit there is IKEA. They have quite a big signage that you can not miss from the road. Open at 10am, I came upstairs in the cafetaria. People start to come and queue. Apparently they came for breakfast. Amazingly they serve western breakfast starting from twenty thousands rupiah, quite a bargain right. And they offers refill coffee, tea and beverages. From this point, in the next two hours people will swarm this place for lunch. However, the customer usually do not concern about cleaning their own table aftermeal, and that is the irony...

So happy to finally be able to dine and visit IKEA for the very first time ever!! Yes, at long last...

Was blown away by the massive restaurant area, let alone seeing their food menu. Drooling to the max🤤🤤🤤

Can't restrain myself from grabbing every dish in sight.

Honestly I was setting my bar low for the meatballs, not half bad 👌🏻 Of course not as good as the one in States, hence the low bar.

The smoked salmon was good, same goes for the Fish n Chips and the Bratwurst 👍🏻✨

I certainly had a great time dining here, accompanied by my Cuzzies. Thanks again guys for taking me there 💪🏻
