Disappointing Experience 😟

My visit to Solaria at Metland Puri was, unfortunately, a one-time experience, as I don’t plan to return due to several letdowns. The restaurant is easily accessible within the Metland Puri complex, and the parking area is convenient, though I was frustrated to learn that parking payments are QRIS-only, which isn’t ideal for those without digital payment options. Inside, the ambiance is casual and clean, with bright lighting and a spacious layout that feels welcoming enough. The menu offers a wide variety of Asian and Western dishes, from rice bowls to pastas, which initially seemed promising. I ordered the chicken yakiniku rice bowl, hoping for a flavorful meal, but the taste was a major disappointment—overly salty and lacking the savory depth I expected, making it barely enjoyable.

The staff’s service was another low point. While they were efficient in taking orders and delivering food, their demeanor was far from welcoming. The servers appeared disinterested and curt, which made the dining experience feel cold and impersonal. On a positive note, the portion size of the rice bowl was decent for the price, which is fairly reasonable compared to similar restaurants. I also noticed they offer unique dishes like sapo tofu seafood with rice, which might appeal to some, but I didn’t get the chance to try it. The restaurant was clean, with tables promptly cleared, which is a plus for hygiene-conscious diners.

Despite the decent menu variety and cleanliness, the poor food quality and unfriendly staff left a bad impression. The QRIS-only parking payment added an unnecessary hassle, especially for a one-off visit. I wouldn’t recommend this Solaria location to others unless they’re desperate for a quick bite in the area and don’t mind mediocre flavors or indifferent service. For me, the combination of an awful-tasting chicken yakiniku rice bowl and the staff’s lack of warmth means I’ll be looking elsewhere for my next meal. Solaria could improve by focusing on better food seasoning and fostering a friendlier, more engaging staff...

Makanannya enak ya kaya solaria pada umumnya. Dari beberapa solaria yg pernah gua datengin lemon tea terenak ada disini.

Semuanya oke, sampe mba²nya pada bebersih buat closing jauh sebelum waktunya. Menurut gua ini ga banget, soalnya disini emang keterangan jam bukanya sampe jam 23.00 sedangkan gua duduk dan dateng disekitar jam 21.30, di jam 21.45 mereka udah mulai bersih² yang mana ini wangi pembersih lantainya bikin wangi makanannya kalah, jadi tadi semua makanan berasa kecelup pembersih lantai dimana yang kita tau bau bisa mempengaruhi makanan ya.. Agak ganggu aja makanannya gurih tapi wanginya manis buangeett

Padahal overall enak cuma masalahnya belum jam tutup tapi udah buru² bebersih dan siap² buat closingan jadi kurang nyaman karna berasa diburu²in ditambah faktor terbesarnya ya itu.. wangi pembersih lantainya bikin wangi makanannya hilang. Sama tadi mau buang tisu toilet aja udah ga ada tong sampahnya, padahal belum jam 10 jadi tisu bekas gua gua masukin tas bawa pulang. Harusnya kan jam 11 jam closingan bukan jam karyawan pulang. Ya gak sih? Buat makanan tetep gua kasih bintang 5 ya karena disini bisa pisah kasih rating.

Oh tambahan mungkin karyawannya bisa lebih ramah lagi ya, beberapa udah ada yang oke kok tapi yang lain mungkin bisa...

I had slices of marinated beef and rice with beef tofu there. The beef are juicy & meaty, pleasantly enjoyed. The staff were friendly & helpful indeed, especially with the takeaway orders & the payment. One issue there was the fly buzzing around so Solaria should invest in a more regular pest control, or add more anti fly UV lamp to control those flies that I believe are around some...
