During our visit to Bintan, our driver kindly suggested this restaurant for vegetarian food options.

This place is definitely an ideal choice for those who enjoy mock meat dishes and appreciate having a variety of options, as their buffet offers an extensive selection of mock meat-based cuisine.

However, as someone who doesn't particularly enjoy the taste of mock meat, I found the selection less appealing. Additionally, I had concerns about the presence of real meat in some dishes, and due to the language barrier, the staff was unable to provide clarification.

The pricing system is based on both the number and weight of the selected items, making it an affordable option. However, the quality of the mock meat and the overall oily nature of the dishes diminished my appetite.

This restaurant is a godsend in a region where one has to explain what vegetarianism is.

It's a great place for vegetarian tourists to experience Indonesian flavors without actually eating meat. All the dishes here are vegetarian and the meat recipes use mock-meat.

The food is served in the buffet style. You choose your dishes and pile them onto your plate and take it to the counter where a lady will do some math and tell you how much it all costs. Two plates of food cost only 32,000 IDR.

The main drawback of this place is that the food trays are not actively heated and so the food is cold. However, the great taste and the low cost partly make up for it.

I presumed that the place is run by a Buddhist (to cater to vegetarian Buddhists) because of the Buddha statue at...

Disini tenang. Bersih. Nyaman. Murah. Enak.

Menu yang biasa saya pesan, jamur rendang. Disini juga ada sup. Tapi semuanya menu vegetarian.

Menu yang tidak vegetarian tidak ada dan tidak boleh bawa menu makanan yang tidak vegetarian.

Tempatnya luas. Kecuali parkiran kalau sedang ramai memang agak sulit. Apalagi untuk mobil.

Posisinya pas di pinggir jalan. Ruangan dilengkapi kipas angin (nyaman: tidak panas).

Minuman diambil di tempat terpisah. Setelah bayar di kasih. Wajib masker dan cuci tangan.

Cara pesan: ambil makanannya, lalu bawa ke kasir. Di kasir akan dikasih sendok. Setelah itu makanan dapat dinikmati.

Beberapa olahan jamur dan brokoli harganya tidak mahal (tapi lumayan).

Walaupun beberapa pengunjung ada yang tidak mengenakan masker saat mengambil lauk/makanan. Sebaiknya tetaplah menggunakan masker demi kenyamanan bersama. Masker gratis (ambil di tempat ambil minum).

Harga air putih Rp. 1.000., Per gelas. Tidak bisa isi ulang. Tersedia juga menu bakpau tiga rasa (daging jamur, kacang merah, kacang tanah). Saya recommen bakpau kacang merah.

Tata cara ambil makan:

Ambil makan+lauk Bawa ke kasir (bayar) dan ambil sendok/tisu/tusuk gigi juga ada kalau tidak mau bolak-balik dan ambil kupon minuman yang sudah dibayar, untuk ditebus di tempat jual minum (bersebelahan dengan tempat nasi)

Sekian dulu ya. Note: mahal murah tergantung porsi yang diambil, tapi harganya masih sangat wajar.
