Kepiting Kenari Tarakan — Restaurant in Tarakan

Came here with the expectation to eat Kenari crab, eventually they don't serve it because they informed that it's already preserved by government hence it can't be eaten anymore. Hence we tried regular crab "black pepper/lada hitam" and it turns out to be great! it was delicious and the black pepper is sufficiently spicy. Not to mention the condiment sauce was also tasty. Although the restaurant's ambience is kinda creepy, especially with the door moving by itself... but the black pepper crab was great, worth to try, and I don't think this restaurant deserves the hate that it received through...

The crabs was excellent! We ordered the sweet-sour and blackpepper crab. Both were delicious, umami, and cooked perfectly in terms of the texture and flavour. The service was very punctual and friendly as a family-run business. The atmosphere was perfect for a chinese style seafood restaurant. Really...
