Ngopi Di Kebon — Restaurant in West Java

If you're a kind who loves local culinary with a great photo place around the restaurant, congrats you just found a treasure chest in this venue named Ngopi Di Kebon (butcheredly translated to Sip a Cup of Coffee in Garden). Hell if you're here just to take some pictures, it's fine they have a great scenery all around! I'll mention they have the architecture kind, natural, any kinds of flower, animals, city view, anything you can imagine is here.

Food wise, the menu is oriented towards Sundanese and Indonesian cuisine overall, something like Nasi Liwet, Soto, Iga Bakar, Sop Iga, Sop Buntut, Bala-bala, etc. They have some western cuisine too if you want to try don't worry, their service is top notch but their delivery time is just OK for me.

Since I visited the venue during Covid-19, they didn't bodycheck our temperature when we entered the place, shame on them, though they always mention to wear our masks and they use dedicated gloves for more protection...

This is the place that offering not only food but also a view. Fresh air, calmness, scenery and good food is what they are offering in this restaurant. This restaurant is family friendly but worry not when you came here all alone just to find peaceful place to have a meal, this place also suitable for they are who came alone. So many seats they are offering, not so much parking lot but you can park your ride outside restaurant. Recommended seating is beside the fish pond located on below restaurant.

(-) main access is quite narrow although they are offering outside seating, but they are not good when it rains. The water is spill all over the table and also you their Mie Nyemek is not good, it’s too sweet and the spicy is not right. Instant noodle...

Location: 8/10 The road here is quite narrow however still managable. Around 4km from main road.

Parking: 9/10 Parking slot is enough to have more than 10 cars, so no worries.

Facilities: 10/10 Musholla is nice and they do adzan every prayer times. Toilet is also clean.

Drinks: 8/10 I think the drinks is standard good. Didnt try the coffee yet, bandrek is good.

Food:7/10 The food for me is quite standard. I came here several times and food is just good enough however not really mouth watering. Last time my oxtail soup was quite hard to chew. Next time I will order something else or just here to have coffee.

View: 8/10 View to Bandung is beautiful especially afternoon during night time. Best time to be here.
