This Chinese restaurant has been in operation since the 1970s (I once talked to the owner, but don't remember the exact year). It's currently handled by the second generation, though the granny is still around. The hospitality is excellent, offering a family and friendship kind of atmosphere. The food, no doubt, is very delicious. My favorite is mie goreng (fried noodles); it's one of the most delicious fried noodles I've ever tasted. The restaurant is actually spacious. During high season and weekends, you'll probably need to queue a little bit to wait for a free table. It's recommended to close your bill as soon as you finish your meals because many people will be waiting for your table. This is, of course, unless you want to order some more. It's a matter of manners. If you want to chill out afterward, get a cup of coffee and cigarettes, you can stop by Sturgis, not far from Rumah...
Read moreSaya pesan : Nasi Tim Ayam Rp55.000,- Porsi cukup besar untuk wanita tapi pas untuk pria. Isiannya terlalu sederhana, hanya 3 potong kecil ayam. Cuma karena isiannya cuma begitu jadi berasa over price banget yah. Kalau harga cocoknya sih menurut aku Rp35.000, - Mie Ayam Rp45.000, - Mie ayamnya enak, berasa wangi minyak babinya, porsi standard, kayaknya pake daging ayam pejantan. Untuk harga mie ayam over price sedikitlah, cocoknya Rp35.000, - meskipun rasanya cukup enak tapi suasana restorannya biasa banget, nothing special.
Oh ya saya orang Pontianak, tapi menurut saya menu masakannya bukan masakan Kalimantan.
Read more“RM Kalimantan” the name it self has quite an interesting history. Once upon a time, there was a husband and wife who came from mainland China, to be precise from Moyan, Guangdong Province who came to the city of Cianjur, West Java.
Long story short, in 1972 they met a Kalimantan man who asked them to work together to open a restaurant in the Puncak area, Cipanas. So called the restaurant "KALIMANTAN".
At the beginning of the opening year there were few visitors, so the partner who came from Kalimantan decided to sell all the shares to the Chinese husband and wife. Until now, the restaurant has been continued by his children and grandchildren.
RM Kalimantan has four excellent and of course halal foods, namely Nasi Tim, Salted Chicken Noodles, Sweet Chicken Noodles, and Fried...
