Tafso — Restaurant in West Java

Truly a great place to be if you're into taking some additional shots for your Instagram photo stock.

To be able to enter the premises, you only need to buy one meal and one drink with prices that was actually seems normal and pretty fair for the view you'll be getting. Though the food is quite so-so.

I'm a bit questioning the serving of the food. We were ordering a toast, with extravagant plating. With wooden plate, strawberry cuts here and there plus chocolate lines all over the bread, magnifico. But when I'm looking at mine, Tom Yum Noodle with paper bowl, why oh my Dear God WHY?? Did they ran out of ceramic bowl? Meh... I was not there to eat anyway.

This is truly a place to enjoy the view rather than the food Another best thing about this place was that it was actually in some kind of complex of similar spot, namely Serenia Hills. So if you feel like having some Indonesian Food and Indonesian-themed photo spots, it's available next to this place, next to it was also a place with European-themed photo spots with buildings that reminds me of Harry Potter movie.

One thing that I don't like about these place (except for Tafso) was not every joint put a clear terms and conditions to enter their premises and enjoy their photo spots. If everyone put the same TnC similar to Tafso, I think I'll be getting fat faster than the speed of light...

For you point of reference, we spend IDR 120K for a toast, TomYum Noodle, Ice Coffee and...

Really disappointed with the service and the dishes. It is so not worth the money if you consider the expenses here (parking lot, additional expenses which they called "entrance ticket", the menu costs, etc.). I think they are lack of comfort and costumer-friendly personality. Rather than making customer comfortable, I think the expense is very unnecessary to be accounted where in my opinion customers need to be comfortable first then they will expense more automatically so they wont feel any regret. And btw there ain't no wifi.

Your entrance ticket money won't be refunded if you dont buy any meal a.k.a. if you only want to take pictures there, yet it will be redeemed as your meal purchased as it says.

The menus are very standard, the taste is also basic. The order took 20 minutes for beverages only with little crowd in it. And look at the menu! Those costs do not make sense, I think they could upgrade their menu books and the menu lists.

There ate two kinds of parking lot, the one which developer provides and the one the villagers provide. Preferably take the developer one. Look at the crazy parking lot prize! You have to waste some time to make your parking ticket...

Tafso is perfect for holidays with family or friends. It can also be a meeting place with coworkers or a reunion with friends who haven't seen each other for a long time. It is because there was a spacious and very comfortable place to gather. There was also a private room made like a tent. There were many places made for taking photos. Or you could say instagramable. When I ate at the cafe there, the food was pretty good, even though the food was the same as other cafes. What was different is when we eat accompanied by a beautiful view. It was more beautiful to go there in the afternoon when the sun will set. At night no less beautiful because there were many lights as decoration. We could also see the city of Bandung with decorative lights from the top of the hill. Don't forget to wear thick clothes if you go there, because the air is quite cold there, especially for people who are accustomed to being in urban areas.
