Nice food they serve, tasty too. However, in spite of the waiter acknowledging my order of Ayam Bakar because I wanted to avoid oily penyet, the Ayam still turns out oily like penyet 🤔. Probably the cook fried it to save time followed by over the grill for show? I give the benefit of doubt. The food portions were surprisingly small, considering they are serving mainly tourists and trekkers. I seriously doubt many locals will come due to the higher than usual pricing. Come back again? Probably not, especially my first choice of Pizzas were not available when it was expected to. If I wanted local food, I'll definitely not be here. But why 4 stars and not 3 or 2? Well.... Considering food quality, service, atmosphere and cleanliness, it definitely deserves it, but...

We went to Samasta couple times and try their different menus, ended up always love their french fries. It’s a fresh-handcuts homemade potato (not the packed ones). The food is quite good with good representation. If you’re looking for proper meal in Sembalun area, Samasta should be on your list. The waiting time might be a little big longer compared to the restaurant nearby, but for us it’s worth the wait. The staffs also very nice, greeted us with warm welcome and we had a very good time chit chat with them! Looking forward too...

Very beautiful and charming place! Food is supergood!!! Western food is really great but also the Indonesian food is amazing! They even adapt the dishes to vegetarian option if you ask! Very good cook! And I really loved the atmosphere and vibe! Beautiful wood building and warm lights. By the way they have such a nice cosy, soft and chill chairs. Everything looks so clean and the price for the food is superfair! To top it: The staff is really friendly!!! We ate here twice in one day because We loved it so much here! Absolutely...
