I believe every single restaurant should have the chance to be tested at least once and here is my experience with the Nal' Eshkene full of paradoxes and disappointments:
Taking my order: I arrived there on the day before Nowruz at 12, being happy they're open from 11:30. I was the first and only costumer on the 3rd floor and my order is taken however at 12:30 after a couple of in-person requests at the cash on the second floor. I tolerated that and tried to enjoy the eye catching panorama.
Food: The so called Russian Kabob was not bad but the pickled garlic was raw and honestly it looked as if they have collected them from the rest of some previous dishes together and made a new bowl out of it. My cutlery was inappropriate too: Kabob with spoon and fork seemed odd so I had to ask for a knife again!!! The service in one word: not generous.
Ambient: Lack of sense of being welcome was irritating. I expected a more luxurious and classier type of restaurant based on their architecture and the price of their food. Stunningly they'll put a disposable tablecloth on your table. Not even a bit of feeling of new year atmosphere, no music and no preperation for the new year travelers.
Price: Considering the fact that the restaurant can gain good points rather because of its location than its service and food, I find the Na'l Eshkeneh overpriced and the final 9% tax doesn't sound fair at all.
Overall: It looked like a beautiful restaurant, recently occupied and possessed by some nonprofessionals who neither know how to manage it not enjoy their job. I recommend this restaurant to big crowds of travelers or tourists to have fun and forget about details if you wanna enjoy your...

However, the atmosphere is quite basic, similar to a typical kebab place with long tables and disposable plastic covers. The staff are polite but not especially welcoming, and it can be difficult to get their attention during quieter hours. With friendlier and more attentive service, this place could be...
Read moreIt's a big restaurant with lots of tables indoor and outdoor areas. Serves mainly Grilled meat types. It's Shishlik was perfect but Chenje was very tough and served cold. Jooje Kabab tastes artificial lemon juice and not tasty in my opinion. Another problem was it's toilets which had no soap and toilet paper despite the fact that lots of workers were wandering...
