Jo Cafe & Restaurant — Restaurant in Tehran

I recently had dinner at Jo Restaurant and wanted to share my experience. First and foremost, I have to mention that they have hosts who greet you upon arrival and guide you to your table, which is definitely a positive aspect of the restaurant.

The staff at Jo Restaurant were absolutely fantastic. They were knowledgeable, attentive, and truly knew their job well. Their excellent service added to the overall dining experience.

However, I have mixed feelings about the food. I ordered the fries and the Alfredo Chicken Pizza. Unfortunately, the fries were disappointing. They were not served hot, but rather cold, which was quite disappointing. I had to rely on the sauce to enhance the taste and salvage the experience. It was definitely the worst fries I've ever had.

As for the Alfredo Chicken Pizza, it was decent but nothing exceptional. I felt that it was just an average Italian pizza, and there are certainly better options available at other restaurants. If you're craving a truly outstanding pizza, you might want to explore other options.

In terms of seating, Jo Restaurant offers both outdoor and indoor tables. While the outdoor seating is a nice option, I personally found the experience to be much better inside the restaurant. The ambiance and atmosphere indoors added to the overall enjoyment of the meal.

Overall, my experience at Jo Restaurant was a mix of positives and negatives. The welcoming hosts and the exceptional staff were definite highlights. However, the disappointing fries and average pizza left something to be desired. If you're looking for a great dining experience, I would recommend exploring other options.

I’ve been visiting Grill Food Joe since I was a child, back when a pizza cost just 30,000 Toman. This place was one of the first to offer authentic Italian pizzas prepared by highly skilled chefs. Even today, in my opinion, Joe’s pizzas remain outstanding, with a unique and original taste that’s incomparable.

If you want to experience something truly special, I highly recommend trying the Amigo Steak Pizza and the Alfredo Pizza (especially if you enjoy the combination of broccoli and chicken on your pizza). The Bacon and Mushroom Pizza is also excellent. Keep in mind that these pizzas might change based on the season, so it’s always a good idea to check with the waiter.

Joe’s salads are of top quality and highly creative – they are a must-try! The dishes at Grill Food Joe provide a complete and professional dining experience. The quality and taste are worth the higher price range, and you’ll definitely be satisfied.

It’s important to note that Grill Food Joe offers a refined, professional approach to food. If your expectation is for heavy, low-quality pizzas loaded with sausages, salami, and excessive cheese, or if you’re looking for pizzas like the typical Iranian or American ones, this place might not be for you. The concept of food here is different and requires an open mind and appreciation for top-tier cuisine.

I’ve always been pleased with my experiences at Joe, and I can confidently recommend it to anyone, even if I have foreign guests. I would definitely bring them here for an unforgettable night out. Jo grilled food is one the best cafe restaurants in west of tehran and even tehran. We are regulars and since I've discovered "balsamic chicken steak", i havent ordered anything else. It is MAGICAL! it only takes you 1 try to become a fan of it. You'll get 2 parts of chicken steak, 1 breast and 1 thighs with mashed potatoes, spinage side and The sauce is wonderful. You've never eat anything like it. We also ordered "medalian steak" which was well done as we ordered and served with jojo fries and special sauce which both were wonderful. It was delicious but the portion was a bit low and we expected more. The environment is friendly and lovely. The staff are polite and welcoming.
