Aside from the nice décore and well-mannered waiting staff, everything else in the restaurant was a major disappointment. The ingredients used for the appetizers were of the lowest quality which were unskilfully masked under thick layers of cheese and cream. The recipe were made up by someone who has clearly never tasted European/Italian food.
Until today, I didnt know it was possible for anyone, aside from a college student with amateur culinary skills, to cook pasta so unevenly - al dente and over cooked at the same time.
There was no sign of Capers in the Tomato and Capers Ravioli, nor taste of any Ricotta cheese. The tomato sauce covering the pasta tasted like uncooked tomato paste with a dash of bottled lime juice. The Blue Cheese penne - one of the more expensive options on the menue - was served in a pool of heavy cream with not even a trace of blue cheese.
Several hours after the meal, myself and my other two companions still feel very heavy and bloated due to the poor quality of the dishes. The kind of stomach pain you would expect from eating a full dinner at a cheap coffee shop, but certainly not at that price.
The bill came down to what you would pay at the most prominent restaurants in Iran.
I wouldn’t recommend going here unless they seriously decide to change...
Read moreA Disappointing Experience at Pasta Factory!
First impressions matter, and unfortunately, Pasta Factory failed completely in this regard. From the moment we arrived, the hostess service was shockingly unwelcoming.
Despite the restaurant being nearly empty—with only one occupied table and over ten available—one of the many idle servers approached us without even a simple greeting. His demeanor was cold and indifferent, making us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued guests.
To make matters worse, each table we requested to sit at was suddenly “reserved,” yet there were no visible signs or indications of actual reservations. Instead of offering solutions or making an effort to accommodate us, the server dismissed our requests with an unnecessarily rude and arrogant attitude (پررو).
A restaurant isn’t just about food—it’s about the experience, and service plays a crucial role. If a place can’t even offer basic hospitality, it doesn’t matter how good the menu is. Pasta Factory seriously needs to improve its service, or it risks driving customers away before they even get a...
Read moreWe had vegan tomato and eggplant pasta, garlic pizza, and steak. The texture of the pasta could have been a bit softer and more well-cooked, but the sauce was delicious. As for the pizza, it had a strange cheese flavor, though the overall combination of ingredients was interesting still, not really my choice. The Caesar salad and fries were excellent.
The atmosphere and the live music were absolutely amazing، exactly what I needed and far beyond excellent. The singer was fantastic, and the performance was even better.
Finally, we had pistachio tiramisu for dessert, but I couldn’t really taste the pistachio. It had a kind of herbal flavor, and the ladyfingers were way too much. I wished there had been more of the creamy filling. Also, I got more of a coffee flavor than pistachio.
Overall, it was a great night, but I’d rate it...
