If you’re in the north of Tehran and craving a really good Persian meal, Shandiz Galleria is one of those places that won’t disappoint. It’s tucked inside the Galleria Center, which makes it super convenient if you’re already in the area. Whether you’re coming by car or rideshare, access is smooth and there’s valet parking — a huge plus given how tricky parking can be in this part of town.
The moment you step in, the ambiance just hits the right balance — elegant but relaxed. It’s stylish without feeling stuffy, and whether you’re out with family, on a date, or having a casual business lunch, it works for all. The space is bright, clean, and comfortable, with enough room between tables so you’re not overhearing everyone’s conversations. It’s a calm vibe, even when it’s busy, which adds a lot to the overall experience.
Service here is spot-on. The staff are welcoming and well-trained — they know when to check in and when to give you space. Everything feels organized and smooth, which helps you just sit back and enjoy your meal. You won’t be stuck waiting forever for your food, and everything arrives fresh and hot.
Let’s talk food. The main draw here is the grilled meats — and they’re done really well. If you’re into Persian kebabs, this place does them right. Their Shishlik is juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The koobideh is soft and rich, and the chenjeh hits all the right notes if you’re into red meat. Everything is cooked just right — not dry, not underdone. The rice is buttery and fluffy, and don’t skip the grilled tomatoes or fresh herbs on the side. These details make a big difference.
Portions are generous, and the presentation is neat — it shows they care about quality. Prices are on the higher end, but still reasonable for what you get. It’s not a cheap-eats place, but it’s not overpriced either. You’re paying for clean, consistent food, solid service, and a chill atmosphere — and it’s worth it.
The restaurant also works great for groups — whether it’s family with kids or older guests. The setting is comfortable for everyone, with enough space to move around. It’s also good for a slower-paced lunch or dinner where you want to sit and talk without being rushed or dealing with noise.
As a practical tip, try to go a bit early on weekends or dinner hours since it can get full. The staff are good at managing tables, but if you’re particular about where you sit, a reservation helps.
In a city full of food options, Shandiz Galleria stands out for its consistency and class. If you’re looking for somewhere to enjoy classic Persian flavors in a polished setting, this is one to check out. If this review helped you out, hit the like button — and feel free to share your...
Read moreWe booked our engagement ceremony at shandiz galeria, we had a disastrous experience. We had booked the private VIP room fourteen days earlier, however on the noon of the day that we had our planed ceremony, the agent from the restaurant called. She said that they had over booked the room for another engagement and have to move us to the public area of the restaurant. We were shocked but could not change our plans, it was too late to do so. Upon our insistence, they said they will give us the room couple of hours later and will make sure everything would be ready by then. But this did not happened. We arrived at the place at the time that they had promised us with all our friends and family. The other party was still in the room that we had booked. They finally gave us the room at 11 pm. Long story short, the management has a facade of professionalism but underneath they are incompetent, amateur, low class rookies. So do not get fooled by the glamour of the place, there are many other restaurants in tehran that are truly high end and provide the persian experience like Kakh in fereshteh, or VIP or divan...
