Here’s a detailed review for Yas restaurant in Tehran:

Ambiance: Yas restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with its elegant and traditional Persian décor. The atmosphere is a perfect blend of sophistication and warmth, featuring beautiful Persian rugs, intricate tile work, and ornate chandeliers. This creates a cozy and inviting environment ideal for both casual dining and special occasions.

Food: The menu at Yas is a celebration of classic Persian cuisine. Each dish is meticulously prepared, showcasing the rich culinary heritage of Iran. I was particularly impressed with their kebabs, which were juicy and full of flavor, and the variety of stews (khoresht) that were both hearty and aromatic. Their use of fresh herbs and spices truly elevates each dish, making every bite a delight. The traditional starters, like mirza ghasemi and kashk-e bademjan, were well-executed, setting the tone for an exquisite meal. The rice dishes, especially the saffron-infused tahchin, were outstanding, providing a perfect accompaniment to the mains.

Service: The service at Yas is impeccable. The staff is attentive and courteous, providing thoughtful recommendations and ensuring that each guest feels welcomed. Their knowledge of the menu and eagerness to assist with dietary preferences or restrictions is commendable. Service was prompt without feeling rushed, allowing for a relaxed dining experience.

Value: Yas offers a great value for the quality of food and service provided. The portion sizes are generous, and the pricing is reasonable considering the high standard of the cuisine and the dining experience.

Overall Experience: Yas restaurant is a gem in Tehran, offering a rich and authentic Persian dining experience. From the beautifully crafted dishes to the warm and elegant ambiance, every aspect of the restaurant reflects a dedication to quality and tradition. It's a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy the best of Iranian cuisine in a refined yet welcoming setting. Highly recommended for both locals and visitors looking to experience the essence of Persian...

October 2023: (1.2 Millions Tooman For Only Four Peoples!!!)

Yas Persian Restaurant offers a dining experience that falls squarely in the middle when it comes to Persian cuisine. While it doesn't reach culinary greatness, it manages to provide a decent meal with a few noteworthy elements.

The kebabs, a staple of Persian cuisine, are satisfying but not exceptional. They could use a bit more flavor and tenderness to truly stand out. The same applies to the chicken kebabs, which, while decent, don't leave a lasting impression.

One area where Yas Persian Restaurant excels is in its preparation of rice. The rice dishes are nicely done, with just the right texture and flavor. It's a bright spot in the menu that's worth trying.

The ambiance in the restaurant is acceptable. It provides a comfortable setting for a casual dining experience. While it might not be the place for a romantic dinner, it serves its purpose.

The staff at Yas Persian Restaurant are friendly and accommodating, adding a pleasant touch to your visit. They're knowledgeable about the menu and eager to make your dining experience enjoyable.

However, one aspect that could be improved is the pricing. The food is a bit on the expensive side, especially considering the portion sizes. It might leave you feeling like you didn't get the best value for your money.

In summary, Yas Persian Restaurant is a middle-of-the-road dining option for Persian cuisine. While the rice dishes and friendly staff are highlights, the kebabs could use a bit more finesse. The restaurant's decor and atmosphere are adequate, providing a comfortable dining setting. The only potential hiccup is the pricing, which might not align with the portion sizes. If you're seeking a straightforward Persian meal, Yas Persian Restaurant is worth a visit, but keep your...

Easily one of the best restaurants in Tehran for the past 40 or so years. Much more than just another top end Chelo Kababi, Yas is as famous for its food as it is for the crowd it attracts – a reference point for both Tehranis of yesteryear and the revolution’s nouveau riche to congregate.

Although the menu offers non-Iranian fare, for lunch I would stick to their amazing Kababs and other Iranian dishes such as Baghali Polo with Lamb Shank. Service is of a very high standard for Tehran – friendly and efficient if a little snooty at times. The restaurant gets quite busy for lunch every day of the week except Friday when it’s absolute pandemonium and best left to the desperate and patient.

Perhaps it’s my imagination but I feel the restaurant takes on a more elegant ambiance in the evenings which is when the non-Iranian menu starts making sense – a succulent steak, a sizzling stir-fry, a little something different from the kabab onslaught one experiences as a visitor to Tehran. No matter what you order, one thing I will assure you – it’ll all...

I was hosting a party of 30 for an event and I decided to go with this place for their heritage and reputation. I booked the VIP room but disappointingly had to move to the main area because the air conditioning wasn't working the the service we recieved was the opposite of vip. The welcome drinks took a really long time. The over all service was slow and they seemed overwhelmed with the two parties at the same time. They did offer us a discount because of the service issues but regardless the expectation was much higher with a classic restaurant of this caliber. The food was very good. The barg kabob is the best in the city. The koobideh was my least favorite. For smaller parties is an excellent choice but I won't be considering it for larger groups or events in the future.

I can not remember the last time I had not ordered the Fesenjan stew at Yas. It is by far the best hidden treasure on their menu. To make that claim is no small feat since almost all of their other traditional Iranian dishes are heads and shoulders above anything else you can find in other restaurants. That combined with their fantastic location, with vistas over looking the Mellat Park, makes Yas one of the top five restaurants in the city. Parking can be tricky. Try the Safaviyeh Mall parking next door. My favorite is to take the BRT which drops you off a few steps before the restaurant.
