New Annapurna — Restaurant in Bailieborough-Cootehill Municipal District

Finally! An Indian(and Nepalese) local take out and restaurant that doesn't dumb everything down to tasting like it's dosed in a vaguely sweet tomato ketchup!

The spices and flavours are so, so different with each dish - all delicious in their own way. The smell from each dish distinct and mouth watering - we chose the take out option and our mouth was watering on the drive home 😋!

I ordered 3-4 sure dishes in the Nepalese side of the menu, with tasty steamed dumplings, a mild chicken dish and two types of spicy potatoes, all distinct and flavoursome. My wife and eldest had lamb biryani and chicken karahi, meat was succulent and spice was perfect for my taste buds.

Service was excellent and the price was very reasonable to top it off. May just have found our new favourite local...

Had an amazing meal at Annapurna Indian restaurant! 😋 We ordered dumplings, lamb biryani, paneer butter masala, naan bread, and carrot halwa - and everything was delicious!

They even started us off with yummy crispy poppadoms - super crisp and addictive with the chutneys. The dumplings were soft and full of flavour, the biryani had that perfect mix of spices and aroma, and the paneer butter masala was creamy and rich. The naan was warm and fluffy — perfect for soaking up all that sauce! Finished with a sweet, comforting carrot halwa that was just Perfect. 👌

They had a decent selection of Wine and Beer.

You can really taste the love and authenticity in every dish. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving proper Indian food and friendly vibes. Can’t wait...
