Food was excellent, I quite enjoyed the texture on my tounge. The waiters had a nice personality, I respect that. So if I had to come back again to this place I wouldn’t because I’m not from jameeca. Tur ip ip ip ip. At the end of the day, is night. I felt that the scenery of where the LAVEY INN is placed is good because it is right there but when your heading down to Cavan you might see some sheep. Smash. So if I had to really go again family isn’t the greatest choice I’d rather go for a nice fillet wrap or a Pepsi with ice cream and jelly. When I was heading down the road to it I knew that I was in a right spot for food and maybe drinks. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Do not enter. Do not waste your time, money, sanity, or taste buds. Menu is diabolical. Food comes out of a frozen packet. We ate, we left, and no, we didn't tip. If you think paying €16.95 for a piece of frozen fish and about 7 chips is good value, well, this is the place for you. A good sign of a restaurant is nearby always a full car park (so we are lead to believe) this place is always full but very few eating in the parlor that holds enough room for about 20 people. Very slow service, Coffee and scones ordered. Coffee arrived after about 10 minutes and scones around 15 minutes later. When asked by a gent maybe the manager or owner if everything was ok, My Mother in law (who is in her 80s) reply was " well we are waiting for our scones". All he said was "yes and you'll get them it's a bit slow, and just walked away.
