Bit of a long one. Went for valentines day dinner with my partner and two children. Booking was for half 5, we arrived a bit late unfortunately. When we arrived we didn't know where to go as we had never been before. Not really a child friendly place. My partner booked it 🙄 I was under dressed and over populated 🤣 There was no children's menu when we asked. We were told its 'normally' fish or chicken with chips for kids. We went for one each as both the kids are easy, thank goodness. They loved it. We had the specials and to my delight they where beautiful. I had monkfish and my partner had the venison. Could.not.fault. beautiful. My only problem was we had 3 different servers. From taking our order to starter to main. The first lady was a bit rude. I dont know if it because we had children with us and most of the tables were couples. Even though some couples were louder then then the children. We love to try new food both me and my partner. It was the kids valentines day too I suppose. All in all I would definitely return. Chefs are brilliant and work very hard. I hope they get the recognition...

A bit of a mixed review. I start with the good things. We could not have asked for better service. The staff were great they were friendly, helpful and efficient there was no waiting around. It was a busy Saturday night we were a party of 6.

I had duck pate with honey & cryspy bread to start top marks, it was delicious all starters presented great no complaints

Main meals I had medium rare steak, onions, chips with pepper sauce as main, my daughter had the same main. Both our steaks were the same fatty, chewy not edible on the outer part of the steaks, there was some blood on the plate which mixed in with the pepper sauce yip not the best meal Iv ever had. Being in a hospitality industry myself I rate this place as a 1 star, called this place asked are they taking walk-in they said yes we went there first thing the hostess was so rude, unpleasant to use it felt as if our money was not good enough for them talking to waitress and making faces I noticed everything because I come from the same industry. We had kids with us the hostess was rude to them as well no manners at all we went in there so we ordered the starter and we paid and left. Michelin recommended (guide) it said horrible. Do a course and learn about customer service above all be a good human first. Don’t be apologising please...
