Apache Pizza Bishopstown — Restaurant in Cork

Placed an order online for 1 2ft pizza and one large pizza for €41 plus small change. I rang up afterwards to get some garlic dipsl that normally come with the 2ft pizza to which I was told they don't do the 2ft pizza anymore but they will send out two large pizzas instead of the 2ft and they don't give out dips with the pizza.

I stated that is wasn't right that I didn't get a call to see if that was ok or not, the girl that I was dealing with (Mel) stated "your actual getting more pizza in two large that you do with the 2ft pizza". I took her word for it and hung up.

I then checked on a pizza calculator online as it deals with all the math of round shape, and essentially I was getting almost a third less with two 14"large pizza vs the 2ft. I rang back up to say this and without question or hesitation she just said ok I will put on a third large pizza. Which seems like she already knew that it was a smaller amount and I just want to warn anybody ordering the 2ft pizza make sure you get the 2ft pizza and don't get scammed by Apache !!!!!!

Lastly, I ordered delivery as we didn't want to go out, the delivery driver rang me up and told me to come outside to collect it which was off our premises. (Plenty of parking where we live, just...

I was walking in the area and googled to search for a restaurant nearby. Apache Pizza came out not too far. The website suggested the option to delivery or eat-in. That's probably a mistake as the place is for takeaway only.

I was impressed how clean the kitchen was. Even the floor. Really high standard when it comes to cleanliness.

The pizza is mainly made out of fresh ingredients. I took the vegetarian one and all the vegetables tasted fresh and healthy.

My order took 10 minutes to prepare.

Customer facing skills need improving. No smile at all from entering to leaving the place. I asked for a bag explaining that I wasn't driving but walking away. I got a tiny plastic bag. I had to put my drink in my pocket (when you put a pizza inside a bag, you still have to hold it horizontally so no way to add cold can inside.). I would have appreciated a brown paper bag that would've been more appropriate for my need but the staff there is not the kind that takes ownership of an issue and see how to assist.

Not recommended at all! Did you know that it is ok to have the solid chunk of string cheese in the pizza crust. I ordered a pizza and the crust was full of cold string cheese cylinders. I called them to give a feedback and the lady on the phone said - that is how it is supposed to be because it was cheese crust pizza so they just roll the string cheese bar! Stay hungry but don’t order food from @apachepizzaireland. Ordered Battered Fish from Apache Pizza Bishopstown. The fish was raw in the centre. So, I called them and the lady on the phone told me that it is not possible and it’s not their fault that it is raw. When I asked them about the reason, she told me that - they refry the pre-cooked fish 🤯. I was so amazed that I just her that there is no point to discuss this further and cancelled the call.
