It was a bit challenging to find a breakfast place in Cork on a Sunday. It just so happens that there was also a marathon on that day so loads of roads were closed. We thought we would go outside the city to get breakfast.....little did we know the marathon route went all the way out to Blackrock area too. We abandoned our car and walked ~15mins to the Castle Cafe at the end.

Read moreFirst time visitors to Cork so had to go check out the BlackRock Castle. After a cold and windy walk the welcome at the café was wonderfully warm, and we decided to stay for a hot drink and warm up a little. A lovely place for lunch with the family or even dinner with someone...
