We were visiting the local area so we drove through killybegs and stopped off for a bite to eat. It was a Tuesday afternoon and the weather was fantastic so we went in to the marina cafe. We both got different type of fish off the menu and they were delicious. Mine came with chutney which I never would have thought of but it complemented the dish. The staff were all very friendly and professional and there was no long wait times for service. The place was spotless.

Wa passing this place and decided to stop ,well this place did not disappoint, food was served pretty fast,so fresh and delicious, the atmosphere was amazing, definitely will be coming back ,very friendly staff, and you could see 2 chefs in the kitchen cooking ,for what me and my husband had I think it was a lot cheaper the the most places,if I was charged 10-30 euro more wouldn’t mind

We stopped off for lunch and had the curry sauce and chips. Omg,they were delicious. The best we have ever had,and comimg from England we were outstanded! The cappuccinos were delicious too. But the "piste la resistance"were the cakes. Chocolate brownie and sticky toffee, which came with ice cream and cream. Jeez they were absolutely delicious, sooooon scummy. Thank you.

Initially very poor service. We entered the restaurant, waited for someone to take us to a table and after a minute or two of waiting and no acknowledgement from staff, decided that we would take initiative and take a table. There were a number available at the time. No-one came over to us and when I went to ask for a menu, I was told that I shouldn't have taken a table. I pointed out that I had waited for acknowledgement from staff on entering the restaurant and got none. I was then told of a sign and policy. Following that, the order for my son's came with salad (we had requested no salad at time of ordering). Other than that, the food was delicious. And at the end of the night, a more senior member of the team was just brilliant with her service. That made up for the difficulties earlier. So after a shaky start,...

I was craving a big, juicy, fully-loaded burger after a weekend of camping and hiking and theirs hit the spot, with chips that were hot, fresh and delicious. My partner had the chowder and said it was flavourful and stuffed with seafood. The brown bread is the best I’ve ever tasted (a secret recipe, alas—I would love to know how to make brown bread like that). The place is very busy (always a good sign), but the service was attentive and friendly and the food was quick to arrive. The ice cream cone on our way out the door was the perfect dessert to crown the experience. Mad props to everyone running this place! It will have my recommendation to anyone visiting Killybegs, and I hope we’re able to...

We stopped here for a light lunch following a jaunt on Fintra beach. My husband ordered the Prawn and Monkfish garlic butter Mozzarella gratin served with Sourdough bread and chips at €15.95. My husband was bordering on gloating that he ordered the best dish after the first bite. He thoroughly enjoyed it and gave it 12 out of 10 and complimented the chef directly after demolishing it. I chose the Open prawn sandwich served with Sourdough bread with salad and chips at €14.95 which was very tasty but I regretted not ordering the prawn Monkfish dish. I was gifted a few morsels of this dish and it was melt in the mouth. Prawn Monkfish dish highly recommended. Great...
