The first time I went I had the carrot, coriander and squash soup served with brown bread which was very yummy, the soup had a fresh tasted root taste like it was just plucked from the garden. Sensational taste. hit every taste bud. Then I had the 2nd best ( my aunt being in first place) lasagne with a side salad and toasted bread. Wow delicious and everything tasted so fresh. The owner recommended a nice, traditional bar up the street, Angler's bar, while we waited for our table. This turned out to be our best meal in the Galway area. My wife's steak was perfectly cooked while my Atlantic salmon was seared so well. We were surprised to find out that the owner had been to our homecountry, Singapore, 3 times.
