Sichuan House — Restaurant in County Leitrim

We had heard how good the food was, so on a midweek break to Leitrim we decided to eat there. We arrived around eight and asked for a table the lady said we would be waiting around an hour for a table as the takeaway was busy there was no one in the restaurant we said sure we will go for a drink first and call back she said again wd could be waiting for a table. We asked her if she would like to take our number and phone us when the table was ready she said no there is a hotel down the road for food. We were looking forward to a Chinese meal and we did not want European food. The lady was very rude to us and had a very bad attitude she made it very clear she did not want anyone in the restaurant she told us to suit ourselves...

Food is nice, though salty. WARNING: IF ASKING TO MAKE IT SPICEY, THEY ACTUALLY CHARGE EXTRA! No mention of this extra charge when ordering, and no mention in the menu. I've been in 100s of restaurants and takeaways and never been charged extra asking to add a little extra chili. Even Giulios in Leitrim village, will add extra hot jalapenos...
