Molly Fulton's Bar — Restaurant in County Sligo

This place has been the best in sligo for a while now. We have been there twice. Once we went there on a bank holiday weekend and we had to wait for around 10 mins to get our seats which is quite normal on weekends as every place is running busy during that time. The second time we visited this place was just before Christmas. This place does has a quite good space to fit with outdoor seating as well. Outdoor seating is the best as you can enjoy the weather and also fresh air.

We had ordered oven baked best of chicken with mashed potatoes and veggies with pepperoni sauce. Also penne pasta and creamy potatoes for my other half. For the desert we had to go for our all time favorite chocolate brownie. Also we tried their menu from the specials and noodles. They have a huge private parking with outdoor seating which are covered incase it rains. Overall the experience was altogether fantastic and will surely make it up here...

Don't really do reviews but the below has really annoyed us as we were treating family to a nice family meal before they flew home. Seated, order taken and starters out fast. Then near 15mins waiting for the table to be cleared before my husband asked a waiter to clear it, this is after 4 different members of staff had looked down at the table, including "management" if you could call her that. Near a further 15mins waiting on mains, went to speak to "management" to be told we should expect this with an a la carte menu? What's that got to do with clearing a table?We eat here every wk and have never had a problem... She more or less told us to sit down and wait for our food! And she had our order in her hands??? We unfortunately waited for our mains and then left... Same "management" took payment and didn't bother even apologising for the delay... Really bad...

I called and They told me they do only walk ins only when I drove 40 minutes they told me they only take book ins and they couldn’t let me in and there restaurant was booked up which is clearly wasn’t when nobody was in there I asked about sitting outside they said it was closed which was lies! Do not go there they judge somebody on there appearance which people shouldn’t do this place is very racist towards travellers do not go I felt very disgusted when I heard then they said it was my problem for driving 40 minutes which clearly it was theres when they told me they do walk ins! Me and my family was really excited about trying this place out all our friends told us really good things about it only to find out they judge people for who they are which is disgusting mabye treat people how you wanna be treated my kids was very upset they couldn’t try it...
