A busy spot today with a lot of people sitting out with a coffee & a bite to eat taking in the cool fresh air with the brave swimmers coming & going.Good selection of sweets etc.We had the tea/coffee,sandwich & apple tart (which came with wafer sandwich ice cream) like the old days.We were given blankets for sitting outside in the chilly wind.Staff were great & helpful Sandwiches were ready made on site which limits the selection.

A lovely little cafe with outside seating (only) there are cakes, coffee and sandwiches. A nice view of the beach. Carpark and public toilets close by. Also this is a little shop with beach toys, sweets, crisps, biscuits etc. There is a bus stop across the road from this place.

Reminiscing in cold December about the toasted special, apple pie and pot of tea I had here in August. The hot apple pie had cream, ice cream and wafers - proper old school! The sandwich came with tayto. Angela came out and put a blanket on me and I thought I would die from how lovely the experience was.

There's people in the comments here who simply don't get it. It's an old school newsagents and cafe, not one of these modren coffee shops that look like a lab, that you need a BA in engineering to enter. Angela's is what proper hospitality looks like!

This institution needs UNESCO world...
