The Country Bistro — Restaurant in The Borough District of Wexford

visited the village today after visiting grave of me dad who passed away year ago this month, Country Bistro was where he visited every Day and became well know to all staff who worked there he became known as Grand Dad to young people working here, I'm known for not mincing my words but there is noting I can fault about this little place hidden of beaten track where never expected to find such a fantastic restaurant, food is as it should be nourishing and reminds me as my mother user to always make, food is fist class and exceptional standard, worth anyone's visit, so if your out on a Sunday drive or traveling from or to Wexford or Rosslare or want to find a place to eat then the Country Bistro in taghmon Co Wexford is a must place to visit even if you only do it once, you won't leave hungry or disappointed, staff are respectful and professional,service is 100% way it should be anywhere, girls what ever your doing keep doing it because it's working well don't change it the phrase don't fix what's not broken comes to mind, anyway I'm hoping to get back for a visit for pattern this year so I'll be visiting Country Bistro again. best of luck to you all and thank you for Fantastic service that both my son and I ...

This was our second experience in this wonderful restaurant. We had our Christmas eve family meal here today. Most of our table had beef and it would absolutely melt in your mouth. A fantastic restaurant. The one star I took off was on the service. Although the service was good, there was a lack of a smile. Made feel very unwelcome this morning. Loads of empty tables and we were told we could have the small table in the corner(for 4 of us) but would have to be gone in an hour as they needed it back.
