We came here on the 27th of August as 5 people with a dog and no booking, we were originally told there was unfortunately no room but as we were leaving the lovely waiter called us back and told us he had made room for us! We sat at the back where dogs were allowed and all the staff members were so lovely and speedy with their service. The food was incredible, the bacon and sausages were such good quality, some of the best we had ever had. It was by far our favourite place to eat during our stay in Wexford and the service from the staff was beyond perfect 👍👍👍👍

This place is an absolute hidden gem. I regularly drive through Wellingtonbridge and settle for something there, but just 10 minutes away is this local cafe. Myself and my partner had the vegetable soup and homemade brown bread, and we ordered more bread because it was incredible. The serving of soup was also massive, and delicious! We picked up some coffees to go and had to resist the incredible desserts on offer at the counter. Great value, cosy atmosphere and impeccable service. Can't wait to get back here!

It’s not often we get recommendations that takes one a trip in the opposite direction from our return route home. And we nearly drove past it. Unassuming but very quaint, the owner has created a cosy while enchanting dining experience. What brings people here from far and wide is the quality and flavour of the food served. Our food was hot, fresh produce and full of flavour. Someone decided on a desert, and here is the portion for one.

The Red Door Coffee Shop & Deli in Carrig on Bannow is a true gem! As a family-owned business you can immediately sense the dedication to quality. Situated perfectly in the heart of Carrig on Bannow village along the stunning Scenic Bannow Drive, it's absolutely a must-stop.

Stepping inside The Red Door is like stepping back in time in the best way possible. Housed in a former Post Office of over 30 years, the space is brimming with unique and quirky character. It truly feels like a place where the hustle and bustle outside melts away, allowing you to sit back, unwind, and soak in the peaceful charm.

Our recent lunch was wonderful, complemented by a truly great cup of coffee. To top it off, I enjoyed browsing their lovely gallery. Whether you're looking for a delicious bite to eat, a quality coffee, or a moment of tranquility while exploring the beautiful Bannow Drive, The Red Door Coffee Shop & Deli is an absolute treat. Highly...

Recently we were back again at The Red Door. The service was, as usual, excellent. The welcome was warm. And the desserts sensational. I had a gorgeous scone and my companion had a wonderful white chocolate cheesecake with raspberries. Lovely food, warm welcome and reasonable prices. Including tea and coffee, €15.45. Just be careful not to visit if you're dieting - you will not be able to resist their lovely food!!

We visited for tea/coffee and cakes on Sunday, the first full day of our holiday. Unfortunately, we arrived only 40 mins before they closed for a week's holidays. So a number of items were not available. But the scones were excellent, so were the two different cheesecakes. And the apple crumble was delicious. Tea and coffee were good too. The gentleman who served us was charming and fun. It was a lovely way to start our week's holiday. If they'd been open during our stay, we'd definitely have...

Loved this little cafe! ❤️

We had 2 full Irish breakfasts. It didn't come with beans but we asked for a side order and the staff were very obliging. The place was lovely and warm. Stunning decor. Excellent menu with choices for absolutely everyone.

The staff were absolutely delightful.

Now the breakfast. Wow. For the price of it there was a LOT on the plate. We particularly enjoyed the white pudding which had a beautiful flavour to it. The rest was your standard fry up. The fact it wasn't greasy and the mushrooms were cooked to perfection made me particularly happy.

The coffee was absolutely beautiful. The crockery and cutlery all matched and the place was spotless.

The staff are a real credit to The Red Door. I didn't catch any of their names unfortunately but I wouldn't be able to single anyone out anyway as they were all fab.

I cannot wait to go back and try more of the menu.

Thank you so much for...
