Enniskerry is a charming little village in County Wicklow, Ireland. This village is nestled at the foot of the Wicklow Mountains. We stopped and ate at Kingfisher’s Kitchen where I found the salad of my dreams. Greens, blue cheese, macadamia nut, pears and figs with an amazing dressing. This restaurant has been a family owned restaurant for 23 years on the picturesque main drag in Enniskerry. Loved it!

Wonderful wee place in a beautiful Wicklow village. I promised myself that I would stop by when I had the chance. I got there at 16:10, not knowing that they were closing at 16:00! I did get served by two very polite ladies. I enjoyed my coffee and had one of the best ham & cheese bagels. Nice to sit near a window and watch a few people go by. Thinj that I'll arrive earlier next time!

Nice spot for breakfast or lunch. We went there a few times during our stay in Enniskerry and enjoyed the food each time! From their cappuccinos and irish breakfasts to their soups and lunch items, everything is delightful. Apart from one of our visits where we were waiting for our food for 40+ min (hence removing a service star), the other two visits here were wonderful.

Kingfisher’s Kitchen is a standout gem in Enniskerry, offering an exceptional dining experience that consistently impresses. The food is simply amazing—fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented, with a menu that caters to a wide range of tastes while maintaining a high standard of quality.

The service is equally commendable. The staff are warm, attentive, and professional, creating a welcoming environment that enhances the overall experience. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a regular, you can expect to be well looked after.

The atmosphere is relaxed yet vibrant, striking the perfect balance for both casual lunches and special occasions. With its inviting ambiance and consistent excellence, Kingfisher’s Kitchen ranks among the best restaurants in Enniskerry—a must-visit for anyone...

I entered Kingfisher Kitchen at 1550 on Saturday the 21/4/18 and there were three tables which had not been cleared after the previous diners had left. I sat at a table which had been cleared but there were crumbs still on it. My order was taken after 10 minutes but the food was not served for another 35 minutes. In the meantime a group of nine people arrived and sat at two of the uncleared tables. After 10 minutes some of these people began moving plates, glasses and cutlery to the third uncleared table as there was no sign of any staff member doing so. The food was quite bland but the staff performance was appalling. When I left , one hour after entering the premises the third uncleared table was still in that same position. Francis Brennans advice would not go astray here. I will not be...

I can’t say enough good things about Kingfisgers Kitchen. From the moment I first walked in, they welcomed me with warm, open arms, and this has been a consistent experience every Wednesday since. The staff’s genuine friendliness and attention to detail make every visit special.
