2 Nice 2 Slice — Restaurant in The Municipal District of Callan — Thomastown

We had 2 nice 2 slice prepare a 4 tier wedding cake for our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with the cake Pauline made for us. When reaching out initially to book 2 nice 2 slice to make our cake we only knew our numbers for the wedding so we were able to ask Pauline's advice on what size cake we would need based on that. At that time, 1 year + out from the wedding this was the only details we needed to provide and the finer details were sorted closer to our wedding date, which suited us as its difficult to decide everything when the wedding is so far away. Around 6 months out we were sent samples of cake to taste to decide on our flavours. All the samples were just gorgeous and we were struggling to choose only 4. We also asked Pauline's advice with our choices as we were conscious that our tastes were similar but might not suit all tastes. We provided the outside look for the cake around a month before, copying a cake that had been previously done for a different wedding we had seen on 2 nice 2 slice instagram page with some slight alterations. I think if you have something more complex in mind you would probably need to give more notice. The cake itself turned out so beautiful and tasted incredible. About half was served on the day of the wedding and the second half on the day 2. Everyone was heading for seconds and thirds and were keen to try all flavours, they couldn't get enough of it and were raving about it all day. We are still hearing about it in the weeks since the wedding. Pauline was such a joy to deal with, the ordering process was simple and stress free and you have so much choice in flavours you can really make the cake exactly to suit your taste. We chose 2Nice2Slice for our wedding in March and I am so glad we did.

The cake not only looked incredible, it also tasted exceptional - it was everything I had discussed with Pauline and so much more.

We opted for a three tier cake of raspberry and white chocolate, lemon, and kinder bueno biscuit cake with white buttercream icing. Each tier tasted better than the last but the big hit with everyone was definitely the kinder bueno biscuit cake - it was simply to die for!

All our guests were very complimentary about the look and taste of the cake on the day.

It was also just such a pleasure to deal with Pauline in the lead up to the day, she completely understood what we were looking for and was so giving of her time and expertise.
