Cycling from Waterford to Portlaw on our electric bikes, our batteries were low and we didn’t have enough power to get home. We stopped in to Clodagh bar and the manager Edel very kindly let us charge up our bikes, we had a few beers, went to explore the town, and got home before dark. Thanks Edel you’re a lifesaver! Great pub, friendly atmosphere, will definitely be coming back again.

Lovely gem in the centre of Portlaw. Very welcoming pub, staff are very friendly and accomadating. The pub has a cosy beer garden out the back too. A must stop for anyone visiting Portlaw. Would highly recommend leaving the greenway to give Portlaw and the Clodagh...
