Extremely dissapointed, I love Ricos the lads are sound out was always consistently good, I actually was very happy to pay up to have them deliver to Bagenalstown and all but yesterday was a disgrace, 4PM on the button we ordered food (we waited outside 20 mins beforehand for them to open) I got my food into my hand at 4:50 PM not so much as an apology nevermind restitution, they could have at least warned us they were busy, 50 minutes is beyond outrageous I'd have driven back to Bagenalstown ordered payed for and finished eating from roosters in that 50 minutes, the only way I'll ever order from Rico's again is if some sort of appropriate...

Prices are extortionate compared to most takeaways not ALL but MOST, Chinese across the rd better value a meal €10 closed Tuesdays food should be roasting and fresh, mostly cold odd time enjoyable only get this when need to friendly staff nice people working there but i wouldn't class it price worthy!! Prices online, different than chipper itself (higher in chipper? Mince taco only good thing here €7 collect online €8 to order in shop to collect 1/4 €6.70 collect paid online €7 in shop!! We all need to stop feeding these Prices as there is better places/prices! Definitely stick to Roosters In bagelstown longer drive 5* food...

В готель я приїхав після 21:00 і кухня ресторану вже не працювала, тільки пиво. А на ресепшені підказали, що неподалік є бургерна, яка працює до 23:00.

Бургерна віддалено нагадувала Макдональдс, а один із двох працівників виявився веселим чехом і живе в цьому маленькому ірландському містечку). Ну так, де б я ще поговорив чеською, як не о 10 вечора в ірландських глушинах. Поки ми базікали, чех зробив бургер з подвійною котлетою та картоплею фрі і засипав усе це в паперовий пакет. Картоплю саме засипав. Я трохи здивувався, але не надав цьому великого значення, як і вазі пакета, який мені урочисто вручили, і я, щасливий, пішов до готелю на вечерю.

Але коли я відкрив пакет, я жахнувся. У хорошому сенсі цього слова. Тому що картоплі там було приблизно 10 порцій, а може й 20. Каструляка. Ось чому пакет був такий важкий. А я спочатку не надав цьому значення.

I arrived at the hotel after 9 PM and the restaurant kitchen was already closed, only beer was available. And at the reception, they suggested there was a burger place nearby that's open until 11 PM.

The burger place was vaguely similar to McDonald's, and one of the two workers turned out to be a funny Czech who lives in this small Irish town. Yeah, where else would I speak Czech at 10 PM but in the Irish boonies? While we were chatting, the Czech made a double cheeseburger and fries and put it all in a paper bag. I just covered the potatoes. I was a little surprised, but I didn't think much of it, nor of the weight of the package that was ceremoniously handed to me, and I happily went to the inn for dinner.

But when I opened the package, I was horrified. In the good sense of the word. Because there were about 10 servings of potatoes there, maybe even 20. A big pot. That's why the package was so heavy. I didn't think much of it at first.
