A Modern Marvel at Zucchinis: A Pescatarian's Paradise! Hold onto your taste buds and get ready for a wild gastronomic adventure because Zucchinis knows how to leave you in awe! Last Friday, my girlfriends and I ventured into this culinary wonderland, and let me tell you, it was an experience that left us speechless. First, let's talk about the interior design. Modernity is the name of the game at Zucchinis, and boy, did they knock it out of the park! From the sleek lines to the contemporary vibe, it felt like stepping into a culinary spaceship. I half-expected to be served food by robots named Chef-o-matic and wait-bots. It was an out-of-this-world ambiance that set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Now, onto the staff who were not just professionals, they were culinary superheroes! Their knowledge and expertise created an atmosphere of admiration and trust. It was like having a team of food Avengers waiting to serve and save the night. With their guidance, my pescatarian adventure began. As a seafood lover, finding a great dish is like discovering a hidden treasure. Zucchinis unearthed that hidden gem with their Brie cheese starter. I swear, the flavor party happening in my mouth was so extraordinary that I half-expected fireworks to burst with every bite. Creamy, dreamy, and downright irresistible, this dish was a cheese-lover's delight that left me longing for more. Now, let's talk about the main event - the linguine with prawns. This dish was like a symphony of flavors, with the prawns dancing delicately on a stage of perfectly cooked linguine. Each bite was a tantalizing performance that left me begging for an encore. It was a masterpiece that showcased the kitchen's impeccable skills and artistic touch. And oh my frozen delight, the Raspberry Baked Alaska! Picture this - a frozen treat that melts on your tongue like a snowflake turning into a sweet dance of flavors. The Italian meringue provided a decadent touch, like a delicate pirouette, perfectly balanced with the chilled raspberry goodness. It was a dessert worth shouting from the mountaintops (or at least tapping your spoon on the table in applause). Zucchinis is a culinary paradise where contemporary design merges with culinary sorcery. Whether you're a pescatarian or a fan of delicious food, this place is an absolute must-visit. Prepare yourself for taste bud tango and flavor fireworks as you indulge in their delightful dishes. Trust me, once you experience the magic of Zucchinis, you'll be hooked and ready to join the food adventure again and...

ย ย ย Read moreThe service here was very good. Staff friendly but efficient. The food was cooked well but Zucchini's is now one of the more expensive restaurants in Navan. The higher cost hopefully explains my decision to be extra critical in my review. I started with the Thai Fish Cakes. Crisp on the outside, soft but firm in the middle with not too much potato. Good, but where was the heat. I expected at least a hint of chilli in the fishcake. I thought the chilli jam might come to the rescue but that was remarkably sweet and bland. Not really what I would expect of a 'Thai' dish. As a main course I chose Thai Chicken with Ginger and Chilli. The vegetables were nicely cooked, allowance had been made for some vegetables cooking quicker than others. I didn't think the chicken was particularly tender, it certainly hadn't been velveted. The sauce was dark, sweet, a small amount of piquancy but very little heat. Given the fact that Ginger and Chilli were quoted ingredients I was left disappointed. Not really what I would expect of a 'Thai' dish. I didn't have a dessert but I did try some of my fellow diners Pavlova and Lemon Tart. I was impressed with both dishes. The Lemon Tart was a great consistency and sharp, as it should be. The Pavlova was crisp on the outside and chewy in the middle, as it should be, with lots of fresh fruit. All in all, lots of positives but a few areas where improvements...
