Chequers Pizza - Portlaoise — Restaurant in The Municipal District of Portlaoise

The food is so tasty and can't complain about it . Service is good as i ordered my food online 3 hours prior collection and it was done on the minute as promised. The attention to detail is not up to high marks. The pasta i ordered was Chequers( penne, chicken& bacon i requested without peppers) it seemed the BACON got lost. Garlic mushrooms were on my order and they seemed to got lost to . Kids meal with a can of drink but the drink got lost also. That is nearly 3 items of the order were missing or in value nearly 20% was missing. i do not live in the town so i wasn't about to drive 20 minutes back for them. This is a constructive complaint towards management to impose more attention to detail and making sure customers are getting what they are paying for. i will order in the future from this place as food...

We went to eat here today and ordered food. We sat down and waited for the food and then they called us up to grab the food and said here’s the food for takeaway. We mentioned: sure we sat down, we’re gonna eat in, and there was a face of disgust on the woman after I mentioned that as if I committed a war crime. It was uncomfortable. She ranted on how we never paid the ‘service fee’ to sit in. Genuinely seemed like she was kicking us out. First time hearing of this in a local chipper. I’d understand if she mentioned it initially, but nothing at all, only what do we want to eat. And when we grabbed the food and left, they never included forks or tissues. Now the food was ok, but my God they’re arrogant and fairly bad...

can unfortunatly only give 3 stars. Food that was ordered got here quick enough and was quite tasty but the delivery driver that brought the food arrived with no change and when i told him he could bring it back to me he told me it could be up to 2 hours before he came back even though the resturant is only 5 mins away. In the end he came back after about 10 minutes but still left me €1 short because well after going to get change he still didnt have the right change. Was an off putting experience...
