Not so great! We’ve been going there for a while but since they opened after lockdown the quality is not there apart from the fact that the prices went up. Every time we go there we end up complaining to the manager which is mad, whether be the prices or the taste of food. It’s such a shame to keep going back and find that nothing changes. We liked the place for a bite and kept trying to go back despite things we didn’t like just to give it a chance, but it’s disappointing at this stage. The chef puts out food for the sake of it but it’s shameful to send out food that in basics tastes wrong, just not nice.. the coffee/lattes is horrible, second time brings the latte the same and tasted like coffee you dissolve in boiling water..just so many things wrong GOSH. Not going there anymore. Like not an exaggeration and the comparison would seem crazy, coz they 2 different places and nothing against McDonalds, but if I go and order from McDonalds I would enjoy it better and the coffee/lattes they do is way nicer. But if I pick to go to a restaurant I expect better and quality for money at least or we all then end up going to McDonalds coz there is no other good options out there...

With the reviews of this place online I was looking forward to excellent food and service but sadly I was disappointed as when we arrived for dinner we decided to sit outside we waited 15 minutes for a waiter to come to our table with menus but nobody arrived I had to go myself and get the menus and was told that I then had to go to the bar to order my food and the waitress would serve our food. I ordered the cod with salad and chips I got cod, chips and peas the peas where obviously cooked or heated in the microwave as they where so dry I didn't receive the side salad and the fish had no flavour what so ever no tartar sauce in sight, it was like something you would receive in a takeaway. My friend had steak which he said was nice. But in my opinion to go to a restaurant and eat food with dogs sitting on the table next to is a definite no no a health and safety issue in my opinion. As to the rubbish on the ground and the cleanliness of the tables was in my opinion shocking.. But on a plus side the waitress that served us was extremely nice and so very helpful. I was disappointed in our visit to the establishment but hopefully it will improve...

This is a wonderful friendly pub with great food. There is a brilliant bar menu and the portions are great. The staff we met were all lovely and friendly and very helpfull and spoke to our children as people taking their orders. There is lots of parking and the location is ideal to come off the motorway to eat and then get back on. Its only about 2 miles from the motorway. The only thing that let this place down a bit is walking through the smoking area to enter through the front door and the toilets could do with a bit of attention but i will definately be using it as out stop off in portlaois again. (New review) Today is our third time in 1 year stopping here and the food, staff and service is still exceptional. Our server today was excellent, again asking our kids for their orders and treating them as people. We are always a party of 7 to 10 peopleand there is never a delay in being seated. In my earlier post i mentioned the smoking area which has been closed off from the front door and the changes make a remarkable difference. I cant recommend this place...

Great place for a bite to eat and of course a ice cold pint of orchard thieves, seating outside is so we'll set up ,very spacious with heater over every cubicle, rib and wing combo starter to share was gorgeous, mains we had Texan BBQ burger ,plain burger ,both were double homemade patties and stealth fries ,wide range of curries can't recall the beef one my wife got but she was delighted with it,my son had Southern fried butterflied great of chicken and stealth fires very happy with it also, all portions were plentyfull, only my daughter was brave enough to get dessert, she got chocolate brownie sundie which was huge, staff were very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend going here for dinner and most importantly ring to book a table .

Excellent Thai menu! We've eaten here a number of times and it's honestly got the best quality Thai food around. We've had the pad Thai, green curry and Thai chilli fries and all were absolutely top class. It's a decent size Thai menu that runs from 1500. Unfortunately we've also tried the standard menu and it was fairly rough. Basic carvery effort or even more basic burger and chips. I ordered the chicken burger and it was topped with one bit of soggy lettuce and a massive lump of raw red onion. Standard food rough, but I'll 100% be back for the Thai menu. Also decent pints, quick service and child friendly.

Food was vile and doesn't seem up to standard at all. Everything else was fantastic so it's a shame that someone is making some terrible decisions in the kitchen. No idea why the pizza has cheese like this, it's beyond bizzare in a country that prides themselves on fresh local produce. For reference the photo is a lump of cubed cheese that wasn't completely cooked when served. It tasted sour and wasn't served properly. There's not a single successful pizza restaurant that uses cheese as a base and puts the toppings over the top. Come on guys...
