The Colby Glen — Restaurant in Arbory

Had a really beautiful meal at The Colby ...... all Vegan!! Avocado Samosa with a Chana Dal The food presentation was gorgeous; definitely eating with my eyes when it arrived! The Avo Samosa had a delicious garnish & sauce; the Chana, which is one of my favourite dishes to make at home, was incredible. The sauce was perfect with just enough heat (I'm a hot spice fan!) Even thoughbI got the small dish, I still couldn't eat all of it The service was excellent They are also dog friendly; we had a 4 mo puppy with us which wasn't an issue, they even provided a bowl of water for him Maya was lovely; she was friendly, professional & very smiley! Big thanks to the chef, Maya & the team at The Colby Glen Highly recommend it & looking forward to returning again...

Food was amazing but i felt that some of the staff were a little mistreated. After we finished our meal a young fella came over and began to take our plates away and then put them down again as he had been told to go and take someone elses order, he apologised and said the boss is cracking the whip again. After we had our pudding we started to hear a whistling noise and the young fella again was expected to put down what he was doing and do somthing else. Very disappointed by the reception from the single staff member when we visited on Friday lunchtime. We were abruptly told that meal orders finish at 2pm and closing at 2.30. The menu looked interesting to read and when the meals arrived , it was shock horror as they were not as we had expected.
